U.S. stocks rose Monday, The Dow Jones industrial average rose 358.51, or 1.5 percent, to 24,133.78.
The broader Standard & Poor's 500 index rose 41.74, or 1.5 percent, to 2,878.48.
The technology-heavy Nasdaq composite index rose 95.64, or 1.1 percent, to 8,730.16.
