U.S. stocks rose Wednesday, hitting fresh record highs.
The Dow Jones industrial average rose 274.36, or 0.9 percent, to 29,550.70.
The broader Standard & Poor's 500 index rose 21.70, or 0.65 percent, to 3,379.45.
The technology-heavy Nasdaq composite index rose 87.02, or 0.9 percent, to 9,725.96.
