RIYADH — Mammoth scores and wickets in bundles lit up Round 4 of the MoneyGram Cricket Ke Badshah T20 Cricket Tournament organized by Riyadh Cricket Association (RCA) under the auspices of Saudi Cricket Center (SCC) and sponsored by MoneyGram Transfer Service here recently.
In the Chairman Division, Star-XI defeated KCC by 61 runs. Batting first, Star-XI put on 191-4. Bilal top-scored with 88 runs. Amjad added 32 and Abbas 30. Adnan and Saqib picked up 2 wickets each. KCC, in reply, was restricted to 130. Rashid Abbasi was the only batsman who played with confidence. He hit 69. Amjad picked up 5 wickets, while Bilal took 2 wickets.
Sulaiman-XI beat Kingdom Warriors by 6 wickets. Warriors scored 170. Shakeel picked up 4 wickets, while Naveed and Mudassir claimed 2 each. Sulaiman-XI achieved the target in 16.2 overs. Shoaib hit 50, Mudassir 41 and Shakeel 22. Harris and Farhan picked up a wicket each.
Yusafzayi Cricket Club beat Pakistan Falcons by 13 runs. Yusafzayi put on 169 runs. Bahadur added 36. Tila picked up 4 wickets, while Yasir, Matiullah and Fazal grabbed 2 wickets each. Falcons, in reply, managed 156. Junaid added 42, Yassir 30, Waqar 28 and Tila 21. Khursheed and Altaf picked up 2 wickets each.
Pak Shaheen trounced Thales by a huge margin of 211 runs. Pak Shaheen batted first and scored 343. Ibrar Ul Haq played a blazing innings of 138. Abdulwaheed added 73 and Abdulwahab 43. Thales, in reply, was bundled out for 132. Ibrar Ul Haq picked up 4 wickets, Abdulaziz 3 and Abdulwahab 2. Elsewhere, Crescent beat Riyadh Warriors.
In the President Division, KFSH Blues beat Pak Force by 94 runs. KFSH Blues put on 212-3. Ayaz hit 80, Nadeem Babar 65 and Khurram 40. Faisal picked up 2 wickets. Pak Force, in reply, was restricted to 118, thanks to a great bowling spell by Athar, who picked up 5 wickets. Imran Malik hit 52. Saqib claimed 3 wickets.
CKK beat Riyadh Royals by 101 runs. Batting first, CKK scored 228 runs. Ali Shahid hit 119, while Sajid added 67. Royals could manage 127, in reply. Nouman picked up 4 wickets, while Nabeel claimed 3.
Saudi Jaguars beat Rawdah Heats by 25 runs. Jaguars put on 234. Waleed hit 50, Faisal 47, Mohsin 28, Rao 22 and Arsalan 21. Heats were restricted to 209, in reply. Waleed and Mohammed picked up 2 wickets each.
Green Bangla beat KFSH Green by 4 wickets. KFSH Green scored 164. Suhail hit 58 and Tanveer 33. Mashuq picked up 4 wickets, while Zakir and Alamin took 2 each. Green Bangla achieved the target in the last over. Tuhin hit 55, Kakon 37, Aminul 32 and Mithun 22. Mansoor took 2 wickets.
Tigers beat White Star Cricket Club by 4 runs. Tigers, batting first, scored 230. Murad hit 84, Sailesh 83 and Kamran 24. White Star, in reply, was restricted to 226. Faraz was the wrecker-in-chief as he picked up 6 wickets.
In other matches: Shuraim beat Al-Momen International School by 9 wickets; Nouman Gymkhana hammered AKCC by 5 wickets; Stallions beat Indian Strikers by 83 runs; Riyadh Fighters got the better of Delhi Dare Devils by 9 wickets; and Pak Fighters thrashed Lahore Badshah Green by 7 wickets.
