RIYADH — Amir Holidays will play KFSH Blues, while Pak Shaheen will meet Lahore Badshah in the semifinals of Al-Kharj Zone in the American Express T20 Cup being organized by Riyadh Cricket Association here.
In the Huraymala Zone, Riyadh Warriors, Lahore Cricket Club, Hyderabadi Warriors, Fuchs, Falcons, Riyadh Fighters, Star-XI and KFSH Green reached the quarterfinals.
In another zone quarterfinals, Riyadh Warriors will play KFSH Green, Hyderabadi Warriors will play Riyadh Fighters, Falcons will play Fuchs and Star-XI will meet Lahore Cricket Club.
In the Al-Kharj Zone matches, KFSH Blues defeated Saudi Jaguars by 6 wickets. Jaguars, batting first, was all out for 135. Danish was the top-scorer with 48. Abdul Malik was the pick of the bowlers and took 4 wickets. Raja Gulraiz bagged 2 wickets.
KFSH Blues reached the target in 10.3 overs thanks to a scintillating innings of 70 off 26 balls by Irshad Mubashir. Faisal took 2 wickets.
Shuraim beat CKK by 1 wicket in a nail-biting finish. CKK put on 156 with notable contributions from Imran (46) and Najeeb (45). Nouman took 4 wickets. Shuraim achieved the target in 18.4 overs. Rizwan hit 45, Amin Bakhti 26 and Mudassir 25. Nouman Ashgar took 4 wickets for CKK, while Ali Shahid and Zahid bagged two wickets each.
Lahore Badshah beat Punjab Lions by 8 wickets. Punjab Lions batted first and managed 168. Jamshaid added 46, Usman 29 and Salman 25. Gul Khan took 3 wickets, while Akram and Shoaib got 2 wickets each. Lahore Badshah achieved the target in 17.1 overs. Abdul Wahab remained unbeaten on 116, while Yassir added 37.
Stallions beat Lahore Lions by 1 run. Stallions put on 192. Imran Younous Jutt scored 87, while Shakoor added 38. Mansoor claimed 3 wickets, while Muzaffar bagged 2. Lahore Lions, in reply, could score only 191. Atif 55, Mansoor 47 and Omar 41 were the main run getters. Imran Younous Jutt took 2 wickets.
In the Huraymala Zone, Star-XI got the better of Green Bangla by 6 wickets. Green Bangla scored 173-7. Asif took 3 wickets, while Imtiaz claimed 2. Star-XI achieved the target in 15.4 overs. Bilal remained not out on 110. Abbas added 31.
Al-Momen International School beat KFSH Green by 21 runs. Al-Momen, batting first, scored 144-8. Mansoor Ali took 4 wickets. KFSH Green managed 123 in reply. Noor added 30.
Riyadh Warriors trounced Yusafzai-XI by 10 wickets. Yusafzai scored 121. Azhar took 3 wickets, while Zafar bagged 2. Warriors achieved the target in 13.2 overs. Openers Abdulaziz and Majed remained unbeaten on 62 and 54 respectively.
Riyadh Fighters beat Thales by 32 runs. Fighters posted 222. Imran Butt scored 67 and Imran Younous 58. Thales managed 190 in reply. Nusrat, Hameed and Majid took 1 wicket each.
Hyderabadi Warriors beat KFSH Knight Riders by 122 runs. Royal Academy of Cricket (RAC) got a walkover against Pak Eagles.
