RIYADH — The Sikander Farooqui Memorial Cricket Tournament, organized by Riyadh Cricket Association (RCA) and sponsored by Saudi Cricket Centre (SCC), is progressing with exciting matches here.
In Al-Kharj Zone, CKK trounced Amir Holidays by 162 runs. Batting first, CKK lost some wickets early, but Abdul Basit Butt's 72 helped CKK reach a formidable 286. He got good support from Sajid (45) and Nouman (33). Amir Holidays, in reply, was bundled out for 124 as Nabeel took 4 wickets. Nadeem and Imran backed up with 2 wickets each.
In another match, Pak Shaheen got the better of Lahore Badshah by 7 wickets. Lahore Badshah batted first and scored 276. Abdul Wahab and Abdulaziz took 3 and 2 wickets, respectively. Pak Shaheen achieved the target in 28.5 overs through Abdul Qadir (69), Ibrar (61), Waheed (59) and Wahid (54).
In Huraymala Zone, Riyadh Fighters beat Hyderabad Sunrisers by 2 wickets. Sunrisers batted first and managed 152. Imran Younous picked up 4 wickets. Fighters achieved the target in 18.4 overs. Hameed scored 28, Imran Younus 22 and Imran Butt 21.
Hyderabadi Warriors beat Stallions by 6 wickets. Stallions managed 127. Shakoor hit 48 and Asif 21. Feroz and Mubashir took 3 wickets each, while Hamid got 2. Warriors reached the target in 16.4 overs. Imroz and Waseem scored 34 and 33 runs, respectively. Mannan added 22. Amir took 2 wickets.
Crescent beat Green Bangla by 15 runs. Crescent batted first and scored 159-8. Faisal made 44 and Mubashir 34. Amir and Jahangir claimed 2 wickets each. Green Bangla, in reply, managed 144-9. Jakir and Ameen scored 26 each. Faisal took 4 wickets, while Mubashir got 2.
Riyadh Warriors beat Thales by 21 runs. Warriors tallied 136 with contributions from Abdul Gafoor (31), Majid (23) and Shakeel (22). Aziz took 4 wickets. Thales, in reply, managed 115. Abdul Gafoor, Taufeeq and Javed claimed 2 wickets each.
Pakistan Falcons defeated Sulaiman-XI by a huge margin of 126 runs. Pakistan Falcons scored a mammoth 318 with centuries from Tila Yusafzayi (128) and Yasir Ahmed (124). Mudassir and Sulaiman took 1 wicket each. Sulaiman-XI scored 192 through Mudassir (48), Shoaib (29) and Sulaiman (28). Tila, Yassir, Bilal and Abdullah took 2 wickets each.
In Riyadh Zone, Imran-XI beat Royal Strikers by 8 wickets. Royal Strikers scored 122. Imran-XI achieved the target for the loss of 2 wickets. Majid scored 50, Israr 40 and Hazrat Hussain 28.
Lahore Badshah Green beat Pak Eagles by 24 runs. Lahore Badshah Green made 161-9. Afzal scored 30 and Farman 21. Wahid took 4 wickets, while Inam got 3. Pak Eagles scored 137. Farooq hit 32, Saqib 28 and Wahid 21. Waseem took 5 wickets, while Jahangir got 3.
Kohsar Cricket Club got walkover against Pakistani Strikers.
TBCC beat Pak Force by 6 wickets. Pak Force tallied 155. Faisal took 3 wickets. TBCC achieved the target in 19.4 overs through Shareef (28), Khader (25) and Faisal (22).
AKCC beat Delhi Dare Devils by 59 runs. AKCC scored 181. Shahbaz hit 77 and Aimyal 36. Delhi Dare Devils replied with 132. Ammad took 4 wickets.
Punjab Stars beat Grundfos by 60 runs. Punjab Stars scored 205 as Noman hit 65, Wasim 42, Touseef 37 and Rashid 27. Yasir took 2 wickets. Grundfos managed 145. Yassir made 47, Imran 40 and Faris 25. Saeed took 2 wickets.
