A moderate earthquake rattled five southern Spanish provinces on Thursday causing people to run into the streets in panic, DPA reported. No injuries or significant damage were reported from the quake, which measured 4.3 on the Richter Scale. The tremor, which was preceded by two smaller ones and followed by three aftershocks, had its epicentre southwest of Moron de la Frontera near Seville, the National Seismic Network said. The quake made objects fall in homes, prompting frightened residents to run outside or to call the police in several places.
