The French media concern Vivendi and the US games producer Activision announced Sunday a merger of their video games interests, which a Vivendi spokesman valued at 18.9 billion dollars, according to dpa. The new company, Activision Blizzard, would offer such computer games as Guitar Hero and Call of Duty and internet games like World of Warcraft. This would make it the world's most profitable such concern, with turnover of 3.8 billion dollars, dethroning current market leader, the US company Electronic Arts.
