Briton loses bid to avoid extradition to the U.S. on

Briton Gary McKinnon lost a High Court
challenge today to avoid extradition to the United States
over the alleged hacking of U.S. military and NASA computer
systems, reported the Associated Press.
McKinnon had challenged a decision by Home Secretary John
Reid to send him to the United States to face trial. He has
been indicted in New Jersey and northern Virginia, accused
of illegally accessing and damaging U.S. government
computer networks.
