U.S. stocks were mostly higher Wednesday, the Dow Jones industrial average rose 464.28, or 1.5 percent, to 32,297.02. The broader Standard & Poor's 500 index rose 23.37, or 0.6 percent, to 3,898.81. The technology-heavy Nasdaq composite index was little changed, falling 4.99 to 13,068.83.
