U.S. stocks plunged Monday, with the major indexes losing more than 7 percent. The Dow Jones industrial average fell 2,014, or 7.8 percent, to 23,851.02. The broader Standard & Poor's 500 index fell 225.81, or 7.6 percent, to 2,746.56. The technology-heavy Nasdaq composite index fell 624.94, or 7.3 percent, to 7,950.68.
