The Turkish military says 10 members of the armed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) were killed in the country's south-east. According to dpa, seven were killed in an airstrike, while three were killed in clashes, a statement says, adding that the incidents took place on Tuesday in Hakkari and Yuksekova, without specifying further. Additionally, the body of a PKK fighter was found in Sirnak, also in the restive south-east, the statement says. The PKK on Saturday announced it was halting all military activities against Turkey, but Turkish officials have snubbed this proposal.
