AlQa'dah 26, 1433, Oct 12, 2012, SPA -- Upon directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Saudi Commission for the Relief of the Afghan People has delivered 10,000 food baskets to the Afghani authorities concerned. The Saudi ambassador to Afghanistan Mansour bin Saleh Al-Safi, delivered the consignment whcih includes rice, beans, sugar, cooking oil, and green tea in addition to 10000 blankets to the Afghani government officials. The materials, which represent the third phase of relief campaign to flood-hit people in Afghanistan, worth $950,000, it was reported. The Commission has already implemented a number of relief projects in Afghanistan worth SR20 million.
