Abdullatif Alissa Automobile Company (AAAC), distributor of General Motors in Saudi Arabia, has won the General Motors Chairman's Challenge 2007, after achieving a significant increase in sales volume, as compared to 2006, as well as recording high levels of customer satisfaction. Sheikh Abulmohsen Alissa, chairman of the board, accepted the prize from Rick Wagner, CEO of General Motors, during a ceremony held in Paris, France last month. The ceremony was also attended by Hisham Khartabel, CEO of Abdullatif Alissa Automotive Company, and Terry Johnsson, vice president of General Motors Latin America, Africa, and the Middle East, and president of General Motors Middle East. Alissa extended his thanks to Wagner and General Motors, pointing out that the significant growth in Abdullatif Alissa Automobile Company sales reflects development in management and staff performance as well as customer satisfaction, in addition to exhibiting the competitive edge Abdullatif Alissa Automobile Company has gained over the past year. “Abdullatif Alissa Automobile Company has earned this award as a result of the unique services it provides its customers in Saudi Arabia, specifically in sales and after sales services. We are keen on providing our customers with the most outstanding services, and are eager to develop and offer the highest standards in after-sales services,” he added.The Chairman's Challenge prize is presented annually by General Motors in honor of its distinguished agents in the region and includes in its selection criteria sales areas, customer satisfaction, and service achievement, and other objectives set in advance.
