Elecrama 2016, the world's largest trade and networking forum for the electricity industry, has announced the appointment of UAE national Heba Al Mansoori as Middle East Director of the forum's promotional and business development activities across the Middle East region.
A renowned figure in the media and communications field in the region, Al Mansoori, an Emirati with over 15 years of experience in print and broadcast media and marketing in the region, is a published author and Founder and CEO of leading marketing communications agency BIZ COM.
Al Mansoori will lead a range of promotional initiatives across the Middle East region in order to increase awareness among leading players in the regional electricity industry, suppliers and manufacturers of transmission and distribution equipment about the tremendous business opportunities that exist in the fast-growing Indian market.
Since its beginnings in 1990, Elecrama has grown into an all-inclusive trade and networking mega event that is today the world's largest exposition of electric transmission and distribution equipment. Elecrama 2016 will be held in February next year at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre and attract the who's who of the electricity industry.
“We are extremely pleased that Ms. Al Mansoori will spearhead our promotion efforts across the Middle East region,” said Aaditya R Dhoot, Chairman, Elecrama 2016. “The Middle East region is very important to us and her understanding of the area will prove invaluable in aiding us to establish new business linkages and generate interest in Middle East professionals about Elecrama's status as a forum for technology, product and knowledge sharing amongst all key stakeholders of the electricity ecosystem,” he added.
“Middle East businesses and investors are increasingly looking at greater engagement with the Indian market, which thanks to age-old traditional links, is familiar with people of the region,” said Al Mansoori. “Today India's strong growth trends present among the most exciting opportunities for regional companies and Elecrama 2016 is a great showcase for the booming power and energy companies in the region,” she said.
Al Mansoori and her team will undertake a series of roadshows in all the GCC countries targeted at gaining the interest of regional electrical suppliers, industry professionals, investors, government officials and media.
