Mubashir and Safdar hit tons in RCA-SAIB T20

RIYADH — Kohsar, Fonte Stars, KFSH Green and Hyderabadi Warriors came out on top in Round 3 matches of RCA-SAIB T20 tournament here recently.

In Huraymala League, Kohsar thumped Yusafzayi by 3 wickets. Yusafzayi piled up 176. Nasir took 4 wickets, while Sohail and Abdul Waheed took 2 wickets each. Kohsar chased down the target in 19.3 overs. Qasim (37) and Abdul Waheed (31) were the key contributors.


Fonte Stars humbled Sinmar by 72 runs. Fonte Stars posted a mammoth total of 264 for 4. Safdar smashed 117 and Bilal 62. Habeeb grabbed 2 wickets.

Sinmar was restricted to 192. Zainul (35) and Navas (32) showed some resistance. Afaq picked up 3 wickets, while Yasir, Ghulam and Amjad got 2 each.

KFSH Green registered a 3-wicket victory over AKCC. AKCC amassed 168. Afzal top scored with 68. Junaid and Safdar scalped 3 wickets each. KFSH Green scored the required runs in 17.3 overs. Ubaid with 30 and Noor with 28 took their team to victory. Umer picked up 3 wickets and Bilal 2.

Hyderabadi Warriors crushed Crescent by 132 runs. Hyderabadi Warriors scored 259 for 5. Mubashir played a brilliant innings of 118. Mubasher took 2 wickets. Crescent fumbled to a meager 127. Imran top scored with 31. Imroz bowled superbly to pick up 4 wickets and Waseem took 2.

Sulaiman-XI beat Fuchs by 20 runs. Sulaiman-XI racked up a big total of 230. Fakher scored 73 and Akhtar 64, while Mudassir managed 42. Javed grabbed 2 wickets. Fuchs fought hard but was restricted to 210. Akhtar, Mudassir and Shakeel scalped 2 wickets each.

Stallions downed Saudi Jaguars by 3 runs in a thriller. Stallions compiled 216 with Saeed making 37, Imran 35, Amir 34 and Adnan 34. Muhammad and Faisal took 3 and 2 wickets, respectively. Saudi Jaguars could manage only 213. Awais hit 64 and Muhammad 46. Saeed bagged 3 wickets and Sohail 2.

In Diriyah League, Strikers lost to Phoenix by 3 wickets. Strikers posted 148 on the scoreboard. Ahsanullah took 4 wickets, while Asif and Obaid got 2 each. Phoenix reached the target in 15.1 overs. Noman hit 54 and Asif 37. Ammar took 3 wickets and Omar 2.

ULCC lost to Al-Momin School by 5 wickets. ULCC scored 166 runs. Harisha top scored with 68. Al-Momin School was home in 18.1 overs. Akhtar and Harisha took 2 wickets each.

Meanwhile, in the Saudi Orix semifinals, Punjab Stars thumped Kashmir-XI by 7 runs. Punjab Stars posted 167. Zaheer hit 75 and Waqas 40. Kashmir-XI managed only 160. Owais scored 46 and Showkat 32. Asif and Naeem took 3 wickets each and Touseef 2.
