KFSH Blues, Shuraim and TBCC triumph in RCA Cup

RIYADH — KFSH Blues, Shuraim and TBCC scored thrilling wins in Round 5 of Saudi ORIX T20 Cricket Tournament being organized by Riyadh Cricket Association (RCA) and sponsored by Saudi ORIX Leasing Company here recently.
In Al-Kharj Zone, KFSH Blues beat Pak Shaheen by 8 wickets. Pak Shaheen, batting first, was bundled out for 197. Abdul Wahab hit 61, Abuzar 32 and Abdul Waheed 22. Jabbir and Saqib claimed 3 wickets each, while Imtiaz bagged 2. KFSH Blues achieved the target for the loss of 2 wickets in 18.2 overs. Ayaz Mohammed played a scintillating knock of 107 not out. Qaiser and Nouman added 64 and 26, respectively.
Shuraim beat Yusafzayi by 44 runs. Shuraim put on 233-6. Zeeshan scored 48, Inam 44, Arif 39, Rizwan 35 and Amir 24. Mohsin picked up 3 wickets. Yusafzayi, in reply, could manage only 189-7. Mohsin scored 70 and Altaf 59. Rizwan bagged two wickets.
In Huraymala Zone, Crescent beat Indian Strikers by 19 runs. Taking the strike first, Crescent scored 183. Majid made 46, Faisal 30, Mubashir 29 and Mohsin 26. Aneesh took 3 wickets. Indian Strikers could reach only 164. Ranjeet added 52 and Sunil 50. Moazam claimed 3 wickets, while Mubashir and Faisal bagged 2 each.
Pasban beat KCC by 6 wickets. KCC scored 178. Aqib picked up 2 wickets. Pasban reached the target for the loss of 4 wickets in 18.2 overs. Sulaiman remained unbeaten on 81 and Haneef hit 48.
In Riyadh Zone, TBCC edged Kashmir Strikers by 2 runs. TBCC put on 176 and Kashmir Strikers fell short by 2 runs in reply. Sabzar hit 61. Aneesh picked up 4 wickets.
Pak Eagles thrashed Punjab Stars by 63 runs. Pak Eagles scored 183-9. Tanwir claimed 3 wickets, while Touseef, Abdulrahman and Nouman bagged 2 each. Punjab Stars could score only 120. Zaheer scored 46.
Lahore Badshah Green thrashed Friends-XI by 180 runs. Lahore Badshah Green put on 254-6. Zeeshan hit 78, Saad 68, Atif 30 and Afzal 29. Abdulrahman and Ahmed picked up 2 wickets each. Friends-XI was bundled out for 74. Saad, Arshad and Waseem secured 2 wickets each.
Seham edged Rawdah Heats by 4 runs. Seham 209 (Nasir 59, Mudasir 50). Rawdah Heats 205.
Royal Strikers thumped Deer-XI by 126 runs. Royal Strikers 196-6 (Fenil 54, Guhan 49, Divin 24). Deer-XI 70 all out (Mithun 3-12, Dileep 3-12, Divin 2-10).
Nouman Gymkhana downed Lusine by 6 wickets. Lusine 183-7 (Rustam 41, Ghufran 29, Zafar 26; Mustafa 2-27, Afzal 2-34). Nouman Gymkhana 187-4 in 17.4 overs (Amjad 120 not out, Aftab 28, Shahzad 22).
