Lulu lauches' Taste the World in 14 Days'

RIYADH — Lulu “Taste the World in 14 Days”, the annual celebration of food and flavor, is back in Saudi Arabia with more exciting offers, variety and fun packed contests.
The event, an important one in Lulu's calendar, marks the beginning of the summer season and showcases products from around the world. It also gives people a chance to participate in various competitions and win prizes. Cooking contests, competitions and fun tilts are special attractions at the Lulu “Taste the World in 14 Days” this year.
The event was inaugurated by Abdul Razak Ander Al-Enaizi, an elected member of Municipal Council, in Riyadh on Wednesday at LuLu Khurais Road outlet. On a bigger note, the “Lulu Taste the World in 14 Days” is poised to stir the taste-buds of shoppers.
The fourteen-day promotion will have a lot of special attractions and colorful activities. LuLu Murabba will have a car cake, LuLu Khurais will have the largest cake and in LuLu Batha will have largest Baklava as part of inaugural day attraction. From March 26 to 28 and from April 2 to 4, there is a “Street Food Fest”, wherein customers can enjoy street foods from different continents. From March 29 to 31, a Heatlhy Day will be held, wherein organic and gluten-free products will be offered on attractive discount for its health conscious customers.
Olive & Cheese Fest will be held from March 26 to 28. During this promotional days, huge display of exotic cheeses and unparalleled kind of olives will be held. From April 2 to 4.
Sea Food Days will be featured, during which attractive offers are available on varieties of fish, especially on salmon. Grilled and Marinated Fish will be available on attractive prices during this promotion. Apart from these promotional days, Lulu will have special offers on dates and nuts, ethnic dishes, minerals, fruits and juice, rice and spices, meat days as well as a bakery and cakes days.
As always, the cookery contest is set to be biggest draw, with customers across Saudi Arabia vying to put forth their best recipe. There will be magic shows, cake decoration, fruit carving competition, taste and win as well as children competition during this promotional period.
Slated during the promotion are a host of contests and draws in which customers get to win fabulous gifts.
Apart from competitions and draws, there is a range of activities at different parts of the stores. Sampling stations are set up at the bakery, meat and fish, fruits and vegetables, and hot foods sections.
