RIYADH — Pak Shaheen will play Crescent, while Amir Holidays will meet Yusafzayi Cricket Club in the Chairman Division semifinals following Super 8 Round of MoneyGram Cricket Ke Badshah (CKB) T20 Tournament here recently.
The event being is organized by Riyadh Cricket Association (RCA) under the auspices of Saudi Cricket Centre (SCC) and sponsored by MoneyGram Transfer Service.
Amir Holidays beat Lahore Badshah by 34 runs. Amir Holidays put on 308-5. Irfan Mushtaq played a blistering knock of 130 with 6 sixes in an over. Sami Arshad added 85, Umar 60 and Kamran 25. Fahad Munir took 4 wickets. Lahore Badshah could manage 274 in reply. Fahad Malik played a great innings of 184, but could not save his team from defeat. Fahad Munir added 35 and Zahidin 21. Saeed Rahim picked up 2 wickets.
Crescent beat Sulaiman-XI by 85 runs to cement its place in the semifinals. Batting first, Crescent scored 209-3. Imran Raja scored match-winning 109, Omer 48 and Mohsin 34. Mudassir picked up 2 wickets. Sulaiman-XI was bundled out for 124. Mudassir added 26 and Shoaib 22. Omer bagged 3 wickets.
In another match, Star-XI got the better of Yusafzayi CC by 2 wickets. Yusafzayi scored 202. Bilal claimed 3 wickets, while Majid, Yassir and Amjad took 2 each. Star-XI achieved the target in the last over. Yassir scored 80, Bilal 40 and Afaq 30.
In the President Division, KFSH Green beat Green Bangla by 37 runs. KFSH Green, batting first, scored 192. Noor scored 40, Shafeeq 32, Tanweer 28 and Rafaqat 25. Al-Amin claimed 3 wickets, while Amin, Mashuq and Mitho grabbed 2 each. Green Bangla, in reply, managed 155-9. Al-Amin hit 34, while Mithu and Kakon added 27 each. Tahir Abbasi bagged 3 wickets, while Mansoor, Shafeeq and Suhail got 2 each.
Lahore Lions edged passed CKK by 5 wickets to qualify for the semifinals. Batting first, CKK scored 185. Kashif added 77 and Imran 29. Lahore Lions achieved the target in 19.1 overs. Imran and Omar picked up 2 wickets each.
KFSH Blues trounced Stallions by 7 wickets. Electing to bat first, Stallions scored 173-6. Imran hit 56, Adeel 42 and Furqan 22. Abdul Malik claimed 2 wickets. KFSH Blues raced to the target in 12.2 overs thanks to a great innings of 95 not out by Irshad Mubashir. Qaiser and Khurram also played well and added 36 and 27 runs, respectively. Imran, Nisar and Irfan picked up a wicket each.
Shuraim thrashed Pak Fighters by 179 runs. Batting first, Shuraim posted 277. Zeeshan and Rizwan played blistering knocks of 102 and 105, respectively. Inam added a quick-fire 24. Ismail took 2 wickets, while Zafar bagged 1. Pak Fighters, in reply, could manage only 98. Waqar hit 26. Shahnawaz bagged 4 wickets and Zeeshan 3.
In the semifinals, Shuraim will play CKK, while KFSH Blues will take on Lahore Lions.
