RIYADH — Falcons' Sajjad Shaikh finished with a five-wicket haul to help his side beat Kashmir Gymkhana by seven wickets in Round 2 of MoneyGram Cricket Ke Badshah T20 Cricket Tournament here recently.
Seventeen matches were played in the event organized by Riyadh Cricket Association (RCA) under the auspices of Saudi Cricket Centre (SCC) and sponsored by MoneyGram Transfer Service.
In the Chairman Division, Shabir Kanth's 73 and Bazli Mushtaq's 25 enabled Kashmir Gymkhana to total 133 as Sajjad took 5 and Sirajuddin picked up 3 wickets. Falcons achieved the target in 11 overs with Farukh (63), Asif (37) and Kashif (23) scoring. Shabir Bhat got 3 wickets.
Shaikh Premnawaz got a hat trick and Saif took 2 wickets as MPCC was restricted to 152. Warriors beat the target in 12.3 overs with eight wickets in hand. Asif (77), Abdulaziz (40) and Samir 23 scored.
Punjab Lions managed a decent 199-7 against Sulaiman-XI with Fayyaz scoring 96 and Asmat adding 48. Mudassir picked up 3 wickets, while Naveed got 2. The latter reached the target in 16.5 overs losing 5 wickets. Mudassir (61) and Faraz (53) led the way.
Kingdom Warriors beat Grundfos by 14 runs. Warriors scored 193 with Yassir and Faisal picking up 2 wickets each. Grundfos managed 179, in reply, with Zain scoring 57 and Riyaz 44.

Lahore Badshah (LBCC) scored 170 to beat Royal Strikers by 25 runs. For LBCC, Abdulwahab (52), Adnan (51) and Yassir (21) starred. Abdulwahab then took 4 wickets with Saad and Fahad bagging 2 wickets each to skittle Strikers for 145.
Crescent scored 156 with Lajeesh and Salam picking up 3 wickets each while Aneesh got 2 for TBCC, who hit up the runs achieved the target in 19.3 overs with 4 wickets in hand. Faisal hit 50 and Hakeem 49.
Hyderabad Sunrisers were bundled out for 134, which Imran-XI knocked up in 14.2 overs. Majid scored 46 and Arshad 31.
In the President Division, Pak Fighters lost to Lahore Lions despite scoring 219. Ismail Isa Khan scored 100 and Zafar 52 as Fahad picked up 3 wickets. Lahore Lions lost one wicket and won in 18.1 overs. Omar Zafar hit 128 and Muzaffar 60.
Shuraim scored 327-7 with Rizwan (97), Arif (85) and Wahid (54) standing out. Moazzam took 3 wickets while Aftab got 2. In reply, Al Mina Badshahs were all out for 91. Arif got 3 wickets and Shahnawaz 2.
KFSH Blues beat Rawdah Heats by 62 runs. Blues' Irshad Mubashir (113) and Nasir Abbasi (68) with Saqib's quick 33 enabled them total 232-4. Umar picked 2 wickets. Heats hit 170-8. Hassan (49), Abdulrahman (40), Atif (28) and Saif (25) scored. Raja Gulraiz and Nadeem Babar picked up 3 wickets each.
Lions Eleven Stars scored 176-7 against Indian Strikers. Shafiqul added 77, Rasel 26 and Raju 25. Anees and Nadeem took 2 wickets each. Strikers won in 19.4 overs by 3 wickets. Nadeem (85 not out) and Faiz (34) stood out. Raju picked up 3 wickets while Rocky got 2.
Punjab Stars scored 166 against Stallions. Faiz hit 41. Imran and Nisar got 2 wickets each. Stallions hit the runs in 15.5 overs losing 2 wickets.
Imran hit 69 and Asif 54. Tauseef had 2 wickets. Green Bangla scored 206-3 with Saidur Rahman scored 105 and Zakir 52 and held Tigers to 185 in the 21-run win. Sailesh Kaw (62), Arham (31) and Kamran (21) scored.
Nouman Gymkhana's 158 came with Mubashir (50) and Izhar (45). Izhar Khan picked 3 wickets, while Zainullah, Rahim and Shahzad picked 2 each. They then held Pasban CC to 100 to win by 58 runs. Mubashir had 3 wickets while Imran, Afzal and Mustafa had 2 wickets each. Lusine CC managed 163 with Rustam (55) and Zafar (29) contributing. Hafiz Asghar picked up 4 wickets. Fuchs hit up the runs in 17.2 overs with 7 wickets to spare. Shahbaz hit 89 and Riyaz 40. Sajjid picked up two wickets.
