Riyadh Fighters, Fuchs win in Saudi ORIX Tournament

RIYADH — Thrilling encounters were witnessed in Round Six of the Saudi ORIX Cricket Tournament being organized by Riyadh Cricket Association (RCA) here.
In Huraymala Cricket Zone, Fuchs beat Riyadh Warriors by 73 runs. Batting first, Fuchs scored 196-5 in 20 overs. Aziz hit 51, Shahbaz 39, Owais 38 and Mohsin 31. Abdul Rahim took 2 wickets. In reply, Warriors were all out for 123. Shaik scored 33. Owais took four wickets, while Rizwan bagged three.
Attieh Steels thrashed Thales by 97 runs. Attieh Steel put on 266 in 20 overs. Atif bagged three wickets. Thales could manage only 170. Atif performed well with the bat as well and scored 32 runs. Zaiduddin made 28 and Hamid 23.
RAC beat Green Bangla by 51 runs. Taking the strike first, RAC made 213. Zahid Mir scored 57, Izhar 56 and Mubashir 50. In reply, Green Bangle was restricted to 162.
Mubashir took 4 wickets.
Elsewhere, Hyderabadi Warriors beat KFSH Knight Riders.
In Riyadh Cricket Zone, Crescent beat Friends XI by four wickets. Batting first, Friends scored 136. Talha hit 48 and Ayaz 21. Farhan claimed three wickets and Rehman two.
Crescent achieved the target in 18.1 overs. Azhar was the top scorer with 39.
Riyadh Fighters beat Grundfos by eight wickets. Batting first, Grundfos scored 198. Nusrat Ali destroyed the Grundfos lineup by taking five wickets. Imran Younis took two.
Riyadh Fighters reached the target in 16.3 overs. Hameed remained unbeaten on 86, Imran Butt 56 not out and Tasaduq 47.
In another match, Sulaiman XI got the better of Seham. Opting to bat first, Sulaiman scored 181. Shoaib hit 78 and Azhar 26. Gulzar and Shabir took two wickets each. Seham, in reply, was restricted to 140. Habeeb scored 45 and Alamgir 29. Adeel Shahzad took three wickets, while Omar and Shoaib bagged two each.
Lahore Badshah Green beat Imran XI by nine runs. Batting first, Lahore Badshah Green scored 222-5 in 20 overs. Zeeshan hit 85, Afzal 32 and Amer 31. In reply, Imran XI was all out for 213.
Punjab Stars, meanwhile, beat AB Contracting in another Riyadh Zone match.
