JEDDAH — Mini Cooper of Ronald Reyes routed Fuddruckers 81-58 in the 2013 Orient Watch-JBL Basketball Tournament at the Bin Mahfouz basketball court here recently.
Mini Cooper played excellent offense in the whole game. The losers missed important baskets in the final quarter. Natividad scored 24 points for the winner and was adjudged the Orient Watch Best Player while Mortega made 18 points for the losers.
The major sponsor of this tournament is Orient Watch-Al Hussaini and Al-Yahya Investment Group (Othman Al-Hussaini). The co-sponsors are Giordano Fashions (Ahmedullah), ABS-CBN - The Filipino Channel, Flash Cargo (Arnold Dela Cruz), Saudi Signs (Sam Adora) and Al-Haddaf Sportsware (Bayoumi).
Hyundai Genesis of Roland Malabanan defeated Jaguar 76-61. The winner displayed good teamwork in the final quarter. Hernandez topscored with 16 points for the winner and was named the Giordano Best Player, while Rigor Ortiz contributed 18 points for the loser.
AVK Wild Boys of Jolly Tilo edged Nimu 50-42. The winners rotated the ball to create open space for their offense. The losers missed target at crucial moments. Tilo hit 13 points for the winner and was selected as the Saudi Sign Best Player, while Jenalyn top-scored with 22 points for the loser.

In Friday matches, ALJ Quality Services of Jose Reyes scored over Barangay Fame 76-70. The winner played its defense well to halt the offense of the loser in the final two minutes of the game. Ganni Tabao led the winner with 24 points and was adjudged the JBL Best Player, while Jobli scored 24 points for the loser.
United Naghi of Dante Caraan defeated Chillis 52-47 in a very tight game. Recayo scored 19 points for the winner and was named the Hyundai Best Player, while Deparine contributed 18 points for the loser.
Hanco of Edgar Ainza beat Mr. Foodstuff 81-58. The winner showed no mercy on its rival. Jumas made 32 points for the winner and was selected the United Naghi Best Player, while Soriano and Castillo had 16 points apiece for the loser.
Pinoy Jeddah Group of Khalid Lacap defeated Dudut's Internet Café 59-38. Trazo scored 19 points for the winner and was adjudged the JBL Best Player, while Camartin topscored with 15 points for the loser.
