Cooking comes easy this Ramadan with new innovative kitchenware
Published in The Saudi Gazette on 11 - 07 - 2013

JEDDAH – Culinary skills are much in demand during Ramadan owing to immense food preparations that go with the feast. And as a tradition, housewives and women rise to the occasion amid demands and challenges in cooking.
Against this backdrop, Braun, together with its distributor Ahmed Abdulwahed Trading in Saudi Arabia, launched the latest kitchen innovation – the new Multiquick 7 hand-blender with smart speed technology.
With the pressures of Ramadan-cooking being a focus for most women this season, the launch of the Multiquick 7 could not have come at a better time. The latest Braun Multiquick 7 showcases a first of its kind smart-speed technology, lending an easy-to-use ‘more squeeze, more speed' operation. The Multiquick is a true all-round talent, and is the only hand blender in the market to knead dough. As with all Braun Multiquick blenders, it comes with a versatile set of attachments to grate, break, chop, blend, slice and whisk items.
“As a chef I love using the freshest of ingredients and spices, and with Ramadan upon us, nutritious, healthy family meals are of the utmost importance. The Braun Multiquick 7 hand-blenders help you make the most of good value raw ingredients with its more squeeze, more speed functionality. Blend, chop, whisk, mince, liquidize, slice and shred, plus crush wet and dry spices and even knead dough with ease, bring fresh flavorful zest to your Ramadan meals,” said Chef Osama El Sayed during the demonstration held at Park Hyatt Hotel in Jeddah.
“Paying special attention to the culinary demands of Ramadan, Braun Household decided to launch the Multiquick 7 first in the Arabian Peninsula region,” said Fadi Tarabay, marketing director, Ahmed Abdulwahed Trading.
“We wanted to offer women an appliance they could lean on and one that could help speed-up their preparation time during the holy month. We are confident that with Multiquick 7's patented technology of power bell and smart speed, Braun will offer women the ability to spend less time preparing and more time enjoying their delicious meals with their families”, he added.
Along with the Multiquick 7, Braun Multiquick 5 is also available in the market and has been designed to help with all daily cooking rituals.
Equipped with all the functions of a larger food processing machine in a hand blender sized package, the MQ5 comes with a versatile set of attachments to grate, break, chop, blend, slice and whisk item. It's easy and intuitive to use, easy to assemble, disassemble and clean.
Braun Multiquick 7 (MQ 745, MQ 775) and Multiquick 5 (MQ500, MQ520 and MQ535) Baby hand blenders are now available at Ahmed Abdulwahed across all leading electronic goods stores, and hypermarkets in the Kingdom. — SG
