United XI, Asfaan, Golden Knights, Pak Zalmi open account in Kanoo League

United XI, Asfaan, Golden Knights and Pak Zalmi open their account with contrasting wins over their respective opponents in the 3rd week matches of Kanoo Summer T 15 League, sponsored by Yusuf Bin Ahmed Kanoo Group and organized by Jeddah Cricket Association under patronage of Saudi Arabian Cricket Federation (SACF).
United XI scored 153 for 8, were lucky to win by 6 runs against fighting ARM who ended up at 147 for 4. Asfaan beat CSG by 4 wickets with Zota Khan scoring an unbeaten 72 (38b, 8 fours 3 sixes). Golden Knights, after scoring 181 for 6, had the better of Rehab in a high scoring match winning by 4 wickets with Masroor Farooqui (56) and Shehzad (51) blazing with the bat, as Mustafa's valiant knock of 79 of 37 balls ending up on losing side.
Pak Zalmi amassed 201 for 4 courtesy Qassim (58) and Saeed (51NO) and they beat Friends by 45 runs despite Shaan's explosive 72 (23b, 8 fours 5 sixes) ending in vain as Majed struck deadly with 4 for 19. Kashmir Stags thrashed Al Burj by 7 wickets chasing 139 for 3 thanks to Sajid Hussain 51NO (26b), while Wakeel, Khursheed, Mohammed Khalil and Amranuddin picked up 2 wickets each.
