Aces, DK, M Eagles, Gladiators, P Zalmi prevail; CSG surprise R Jurana in Ace Travel Saudi Cup

Aces, Deccan Knights, Makkah Eagles, Jeddah Gladiators and Pak Zalmi prevailed with wins over their respective opponents while Center Systems surprised Royal Jurana with a big win; Adnan Ayub (112) of CSG cracked his second century in succession, Asad (45 runs and 4 for 31) of Pak Zalmi fine all round stint, Piazh (6 for 28) superb bowling, and half centuries by Shaad (65) of Aces, Nasir (64) of Royal Jurana, Mazhar (63) of Deccan Knights, Farooq (59) of Aces, Saeed (56) of Pak Zalmi were the highlights of the 7th week matches of Ace Travel Saudi Cup sponsored by Ace Travel & Tours and organized by Jeddah Cricket Association under auspices of Saudi Arabian Cricket Federation.
Adnan Ayub brilliant unbeaten century 112 runs — his second in successive matches enabled CSG thrash fancied Royal Jurana by 7 wickets with 4.2 overs to spare. Aces humbled Al Burj bundling them out for paltry 104 to win by 90 runs thanks to Shaad (65) and Farooq (59) and some good bowling by Shoraab (3 for 9).
Jeddah Gladiators, led by fine bowling spell from Aftab (3 for 26), Shahnawaz (2 for 32) and quick-fire knocks by Khokar (49NO) and Shani (42NO), raced to 9 wickets win with 7.2 overs to spare over K Chinar. Pak Zalmi cruised to 5-wicket win over Royal Challengers thanks to Saeed (56) and Asad's all-round stint (45 runs, 4 for 31).
Despite superb spell by Piash (6 for 28), CHXI were comfortably beaten by 85 runs by Makkah Eagles, courtesy Asad (50) and Jameel (3 for 16). Deccan Knight had a close encounter before overcoming Asfaan CC by 5 wickets with 2 balls to spare mainly due to Mazhar (63) fine knock, despite Atta Rehman efforts (47NO and 2 for 39) ending up on the losing side.
Center Systems beat Royal Jurana by 7 wickets
Royal Jurana 167 for 4 20 overs. Nasir 64 (29b), Abrar 50 (36b), Kamran 3 for 36. Centre Systems 168 for 3 15.4 overs Adnan Ayub 112NO (48b), Zaqa 24.
Aces beat Al Burj by 90 runs
ACES 194 for 6 18 overs Shaad khan 65 (26b), Farooq 59 (29b), Syed Afzal 3 for 20. Al Burj 104 all out Kamran 37, Osama 20, Shoraab 3 for 9, Asad 2 for 6.
Jeddah Gladiators beat K Chinar by 9 Wickets
K. Chinar 138 for 7 18 overs Arif 27, Adil 24, Aftab 3 for 26, Shahnawaz 2 for 32. Jeddah Gladiators 140 for 1 10.4 overs Khokar 49NO, Shani 42NO.
Pak Zalmi beat Royal Challengers by 5 wickets
Royal Challengers 161 for 6 20 overs Saqib 49, Ibrahim 34, Asad 4 for 31, Abid 2 for 19. Pak Zalmi 162 for 5 16.1 overs Saeed Khan 56 (32b), Asad 45, Saqib 2 for 31, Ali Khan 2 for 38.
Makkah Eagles beat CH XI by 85 runs
Makkah Eagles 176 for 9 18 overs Asad 50 (31b), Janan 41, Piash 6 for 28, Arsalan 2 for 41. CH XI 91 all out Arsalan 21, Jameel 3 for 16, Nawab 2 for 6.
Deccan Knights beat Asfaan CC by 5 wickets
