The Sabr Brothers almost clinched the game after they got the ball with five seconds remaining, but they blundered. Dawood Antonio had 16 points for the winner and was adjudged the Giordano Player of the Game. Jameel Cobre scored 24 points for the losing side. Saldua had 31 big points for the loser. Saudia Aviation of Andrew Masongsong beat ALJ Central Purchasing 94-88 to advance in the championship series in Group B Division. The winner showed heart in its offense as the loser applied trapping defense in the final quarter. Dexter Flora led the winner with 32 points and was adjudged the JBL Player of the Game.
