JEDDAH — The annual event of Saudi Arabia (Jeddah) Chapter, Institute of Chartered Accountants of India was held last weekend at Bay La Sun Hotel in KAEC, and was attended by chapter members, sponsors, guests and their families. The evening started with a welcome address by A. A. Merchant. Vice Chairman Huzefa Saylawala, speaking on behalf of Chairman Sajjadali Gulamhusein — who could not attend as he was away on business visit, while welcoming sponsors, members and guests, reviewed the chapter activities and commended its efforts during 2018 to provide quality technical sessions with renowned local and international speakers from various fields. He thanked all sponsors and members for their support and marked out executive committee members appreciating their dedication during the last one month, working tirelessly and diligently to make the event a great success. Special praise was reserved for Aamir Khan — JCICAI member — for his dedicated efforts to coordinate with Bay La Sun and their event team to make the event a highly enjoyable for all present there. Activities included boating, Go-karting and 3-D movies besides indoor entertainment. A grand raffle with 90 prizes was held for members comprising products ranging from gold coins, air tickets, laptops, iPads, gift vouchers, mobile phones, smart watches and wristwatches.
