RIYADH — Make no mistake, the All Saudi team 20-Vision-20 is putting on a show of a championship run. Fresh off a big win over two-time defending champion Unica, 20-Vision-20 won its second straight Best Team of the Week award and fifth overall during the 11th session in the Almarai-FBGR Tuesday Night Family Bowling League 17th Conference at the Universal Bowling Center here. Completing a double for the Saudis was Ahmad Yasser Abulreesh after he was named Bowler of the Week on 919. None came close to the league leader's another resounding 23-6 victory over Talk & Strikes on total pinfalls of 3,988-3,592. Unica tallied 22 points and 3,902 pinfalls as the week's bye team in action thanks mainly to the high series of 930 from Stephen Solomon, who had to yield the BOW award despite shooting the top individual score by virtue of the one award per bowler rule except when won on consecutive weeks, and 775 from veteran bowler Ernee Noto. Nomercies pounced on the shorthanded IBG Eagles for an 18-0 shutout on total pinfalls of 3,713-1,087. Alsalam Strikers while Lion's Den defeated Team to Beat 16-8 (3,665-3,585). Motaeb Al Basi was the only other player outside of Ahmed Yasser to go the distance on 746 as Vision-20 as usual again maximized the team rotation. Sami Al Repai added 538, while the three other Abulreesh on the lineup namely Mohammed Abulreesh, Ahmad Abulreesh and Yasser Ahmed Abulreesh added 434, 411 and 400. Mohammad Khalid and Khalid Al Swandi completed the scoring on 346 and 194. Nomer Cenil shot 826 at the helm of Nomercies, followed by Jhun Fulay 759, Jonathan Avenido 728, Vic Barrazona 708 and Ariel Alluso 692. Alfred Valencia fired the fourth-best score of 850 while leading Alsalam that also drew 734 from Joseph Rivera, 692 from Bandar Al-Marshad, 689 from Susie Rivera, 426 from Melay Valencia and 386 from Mario Rivera. Omar Valdez, the sixth week individual award winner, returned the second-best three-game series of 904 at the vanguard of the Lion's Den attack.
