Chinar, Pak Zalmi prevail in Kanoo League

JEDDAH — Chinar scored its maiden win, Pak Zalmi recorded a 10-wicket victory, while there were exciting wins for ARM United, Makkah Eagles, Shawahid Technology and fine individual performances by Janan (82), Shaan (78), Zia (63 and 2-15) and Abid (54 not out and 2-30) during the 6th week matches of Kanoo Premier League, sponsored by Yusuf Bin Ahmed Kanoo Group and organized by Jeddah Cricket Association (JCA).
Hostile bowling by Riaz (3-33), Ahmed (3-23) and Shafia (2-29) enabled Chinar secure its first win of the league against KAIA. Fine bowling by Asad (3-25), Abdullah (3-12) and Abid (2-30) and unbeaten knocks by Saeed (70) and Abid (54) gave Pak Zalmi a solid 10-wicket win over CH XI. A quick-fire knock by Shaan Malik (78) gave ARM United an impressive 7-wicket win over Jeddah Gladiators. Janan's polished knock of 82 gave Makkah Eagles an easy 6-wicket win over Kashmir Stags despite Danish's valiant knock of 53. Fiery bowling by Shad (4-27) and Samad (2-34) and fine all–round show by Zia (63 runs and 2-15) gave Shawahid Tech a 21-run win over Saudi Oil. Royal Jurana got a walk over as Makkah Kings failed to turn up.

Pak Zalmi beat CH XI by 10 wickets. CH XI 143 all out in 20 overs (Taqi 43, Asad 3 for 25, Abdullah 3 for 12, Abid 2 for 30). Pak Zalmi 144 for no loss 10 overs Abid 54NO, Saeed 70 not out).
ARM United beat Jeddah Gladiators by 7 wickets. Jeddah Gladiators 127 for 7 in 18 overs (Ali Asker 47, Farhad 2 for 26). ARM United 131 for 3 in 14.1 overs (Shaan Malik 78, Ali 2 for 22).
Makkah Eagles beat Kashmir Stags by 4 wickets. Kashmir Stags 171 for 6 in 20 overs (Danish 53, Azhar 23, Makki 3 for 36). Makkah Eagles 172 for 6 in 17.4 overs (Janan 82, Asad 26 not out, Zahid 3 for 30).
Shawahid Technology beat Saudi Oil by 21 runs. Shawahid Tech 194 all out (Usman 63, Raaz Khan 23, Tauseef 2 for 30, Zia 2 for 15, Moazzam 2 for 42). Saudi Oil 173 all out (Zia 63, Mohsin 24, Shad Khan 4 for 27, Samad 2 for 34).
