KAIA, Kashmir Stags, Makkah Eagles open account

JEDDAH — KAIA, Kashmir Stags, Makkah Eagles and Shawahid Technology opened their account with emphatic wins over ARM United, Chinar, Pak Zalmi and Jeddah Gladiators, respectively, while CH XI recorded its second successive win over Royal Jurana in the 2nd week of Ace Travel Saudi Cup T20 sponsored by Ace Travel and organized by Jeddah Cricket Association (JCA).
Ejaz recorded league's first century — a superb unbeaten 102 (47 balls, 4x8, 6x6) and Jameel's fiery spell of 4 for 16 enabled Makkah Eagles beat Pak Zalmi by 6 wickets, despite Waqas knock of 75.
Adnan's all–round display (80 runs and 3 for 23) was the highlight of KAIA's 60-run win over ARM United.
Stylish unbeaten 58 by Sajid and quality bowling in tandem by Usman, Danish and Samit picking up 2 scalps each gave Kashmir Stags a 6-wicket win over Chinar CC, despite Imran (51) and Rameez (50) fighting efforts.
Usman's all-round show (69 and 2 for 8), Syed's brisk 67 and fine bowling by Faheem (4 for 11) gave Shawahid Tech a huge 210-run win over minnows Jeddah Gladiators. Zaid's (54 and 2 wickets) and Afzal (64) gave CH XI a 79-run win over Royal Jurana despite efforts of Waseem (3 for 33) and Muzzamil (4 for 18) ending up on losing side.

Kashmir Stags beat Chinar CC by 6 wickets. Chinar 178 for 7 (Imran 51, Rameez 50, Usman 2 for 33, Danish 2 for 29). Kashmir Stags 180 for 4 in 17 overs (Sajid 58 not out, Danish 36, Shafiq 2 for 37).
Shawahid Tech beat Jeddah Gladiators by 210 runs. Shawahid 306 for 7 (Syed 67, Usman Khan 69, Sikandar 2 for 49). Jeddah Gladiators 96 all out (Waqas 30, Faheem 4 for 11, Usman 2 for 8, Shafeeq 2 for 21).
CH XI beat Royal Jurana by 79 runs. CH XI 191 for 8 (Zaid 54, Afzal 64, Waseem 3 for 33, Muzzamil 4 for 18). Royal Jurana 112 all out (Irfan 24, Asad 29, Abid 3 for 17, Zaid 2 for 4).
