JEDDAH — Al-Burj, Makkah Eagles, KAIA, Kashmir Stags, Royal Jurana, Saudi Oil, Shawahid Tech and Pak Zalmi qualified for the quarterfinals of Kanoo Premier league, sponsored by Yusuf Bin Ahmed Kanoo Group and organized by Jeddah Cricket Association (JCA).
In the 9th week matches Al-Burj, KAIA, Saudi Oil and Shawahid Tech triumphed over their respective opponents coupled with brilliant individual performances from Bilal (111 not out), Atta Muskan (103 not out and 2 for 30) and Zeeshan of Al-Burj (87).
The quarterfinal lineup is: Saudi Oil vs. KAIA, Shawahid vs. Royal Jurana, Pak Zalmi vs. Kashmir Stags and Makkah Eagles vs. Al-Burj.
Al-Burj amassed a huge tally of 322-1 with aggressive unbeaten centuries from Atta 103 (42 balls, 4x8, 6x9) and Bilal 111 (37 balls, 4x9, 6x10) and a solid 87 from Zeeshan (27 balls, 4x6 6x9). In reply, Butt Sports batted equally well ending with 224-8 with good knocks from Hafiz Rizwan (57) and Abdul Rehman (60). Saudi Oil recorded a 133-run win against Pak Zalmi, courtesy of excellent performances from Zia (71, 2 for 7), Hasnain (61), and Mohsin (76 not out). All-rounder Adnan took 2 for 20 and scored 53 runs to enable KAIA to restrict Makkah Eagles to 149 and win by 7 wickets. Excellent bowling by Shafeeq (3 for 25) Usman (3 for 14) and Zakir (2 for 14) helped Shawahid Tech bundle out Jeddah Gladiators for a paltry 125 and win by 8 wickets.

Al-Burj beat Butt Sports by 98 runs. Al-Burj 322 for 1 in 18 overs (Bilal 111 not out, Atta 103 not out, Zeesshan 87). Butt Sports 224 for 8 in 18 overs (Hafiz Rizwan 57, Abdul Rehman 60, Atta 2 for 30, Raj Mohammed 2 for 37).
Saudi Oil beat Pak Zalmi by 133 runs. Saudi Oil 275 for 2 in 20 overs (Husnain 61, Zia 71, Mohsin 76 not out). Pak Zalmi 142 all out (Waqas 39, Saeed 24, Adnan 3 for 22, Zia 2 for 7).
KAIA beat Makkah Eagles by 7 wickets. Makkah Eagles 149 for 8 in 18 overs (Zia 38, Makki 44, Janan 23, Abdullah 2 for 30, Rafaqath 2 for 19, Adnan 2 for 20). KAIA 150 for 3 in 15.1 overs (Adnan 53, Amjad 62 not out).
Shawahid Technology beat Jeddah Gladiators by 8 wickets. Jeddah Gladiators 125 all out (Asif Raza 66 not out, Shafiq 3 for 25, Usman 3 for 14, Zakir 2 for 14). Shawahid 128 for 2 in 10.4 overs (Raaz 66 not out, Hesham 39).
