Imran, Vimal and Sanaullah made centuries in the opening matches of the RCL Premier League.
Al-Rasheed Agriculture Company Ltd (ARAL) is sponsoring the Riyadh Cricket League T20 Premier 1 and 2 League tournaments. Premier League I and Premier II have 13 teams vying for honors.
Super CC beat Game Pro CC by 7 wickets. Batting first Game Pro made 208 runs. Vimal scored a splendid century (101) with the help of 12 fours and 1 six. He was well supported by Abdulmajed 23 and Moiz 22. Rashid Mirza, Adnan Mali and Shafeeq took 2 wickets each. In reply, Super CC chased the total in 17.4 overs for the loss of two wickets. Rashid Mirza made 84. Noman scored 59 and Adnan Malik 47. Imran of Game Pro took 2 wickets. Man of the Match – Rashid Mirza.
Karachi Titans (KT) CC beat Riyadh Sports Club by 3 wickets. Batting first, RSC made 172 runs. Jamal Khan topscored with 72 runs. Nadeem Pilar 59 and Sunil 26 were the other scorers. Afaq took 3 wickets. In reply, KT achieved the total in 17.5 overs. Rizwan made 52, Afaq 25 and Yasir 18. Saqib of RSC took 3 wickets. Man of the Match – Afaq of KT.
Royal Fighters CC beat Saudi Jaguar CC by 4 runs. Batting first RF scored 192 runs through Mustafa 42, Mubashir 34 and Asif 30. Tahir Sultan of Saudi Jaguar took 4 wickets. Iqbal and Waleed claimed 2 each. In reply, SJ was all out for 188. Shariq took 3 and Mubashir 2. Man of the Match – Mubashir of RF.
Black Caps CC defeated Cricketers Club. BC totalled 260 runs. Sanaullah hit a brilliant century (123). He was well supported by Abid 76 and Sabuj 28. Imran took 2 wickets. In reply, Cricketers could only make 171. Waris 56, Ahmer 47 and Kamran 22 were other main scorers. Ata took 2 wickets. Man of the Match – Sanaullah.
Metrofile Sixers CC won over Falcon CC by 31 runs. Batting first, Metro made 197. Imran Khan blasted a sparkling hundred (106). Basharat made 34 and Irfan 22. Syed Siraj took 3 wickets and Aoun 2. In reply, Falcon was bowled out for 166. Moazam Hussain hit 36, Nazim 33 and Usman 26. Basharat took 3 wickets and Imran 2. Man of the Match – Imran Khan.
