Date CC continues to dominate

Eight matches were played in the SCC-Dilse T20 Championship which is organized by Eastern Province Cricket Association under the auspices of Saudi Cricket Center (SCC) here.
Date CC, main league champion of 2008-09, kept its supremacy by beating ADPCO. Date, batting first, scored 154-7 in 18 overs. Abbas Hussain (67), Syed Yaseen (38) were the main contributors. Krishnan Unni and Soharab of ADPCO shared 2 wickets each. In reply, ADPCO managed 139 and lost the match by 15 runs. Syed Amin and Tapas scored 31 and 38 respectively. Jaffar and Mohsin of Date CC chipped in with 3 wickets each.
Suzuki Saudia defeated Amaco by 8 wickets. Batting first, Amaco scored 127 in the allotted 18 overs. KP Imran and Zubair of Amaco contributed 35 and 24 runs. Captain Zahid snatched 4-31. Suzuki scored the required runs in 17 overs. Kashif (64 n.o.) got support from Bilal (29).
Shaheen Sports Club piled up a huge target of 189 against K. Al-Gosaibi CC. Amin Saifulla (50 n.o.) Furqan (44 off 22 balls) and Samim (26) batted well for Shaheen. In reply, K. Al-Gosaibi was all out for 74. Qaiser took 4-19 while Ayaz took 2 wickets.
Saudi Readymix CC defeated Al-Majdouie by 73 runs. Rizwan (86 n.o. off 35 balls) helped Saudi Readymix tally 181-5. In reply, Al-Majdouie was all out for 108. Hussain scored 33. Zahid, Waris, Imran Raja and Iftikhar took 2 wickets each.
Yorker CC lost to Srilankan CC by 2 wickets. Yorker was all out for 131. In reply, Srilankan reached the target for the loss of 8 wickets with six balls to spare. Imran bowled well and took 4 wickets for Yorkers CC. Sunand and Silva took 3 wickets each for Srilankan CC.
Asia Eleven scored 131 runs and won by 51 runs against Classic Jubail. Qasir (4 wickets) and Fahad (3) were the main wicket-takers. In reply, Classic Jubail was all out for 82 runs. Khalid topscored with 48. Tasaddaq of Asia Eleven took 4 wickets.
Blue Stars piled up 207 and Rising Stars fell short of 10 runs. Iqbal of Blue Stars was in prime form as he scored an unbeaten 81 runs in just 44 balls. Ashraf (47) and Muthiah (26) swelled the total. In reply, Rising Stars scored 197, mainly through Bilal Shah (80 n.o.). Sohail and Ali Shah claimed 3 wickets each.
IISD lost to Informatics Saudia by 6 wickets. IISD scored 90 runs. Haris Basheer (21) and Hasan Bukhari (14) were the main scorers. Sami of Informatics took 3-21. Informatics Saudia reached the reef in 13 overs. Haris Basheer and Aoun Mohammed Abedi of IISD took 2-15 and 1
