Mansoor belts a ton; MM Group seals victory on debut

JEDDAH — Mansoor of Stallions blasted a century, MM Group sealed a victory on debut, Royal Brothers, Bihar international Fighters, Apex Express, Al-Mazroi Salonpas, MFCC, ATC and AGA won their matches in the WPCA Summer Morning Tournament.
Stallions downed Inma by 81 runs. Stallions racked up a mammoth 238-5. Mansoor blasted 120 in 57 balls with 16 fours and 3 sixes. Abdulrehman made 33, Aqeel unbeaten 28 and Asim 22 not out. Zeeshan took 2-46. Inma was bowled out for 157. Safi stroked 52 and Dayan 46. Waqas took 3-41, Faizan 2-16 and Sahil 2-21.
MM Group won its first match in WPCA against Hyderabad Strikers by 5 wickets. Hyderabad Strikers posted 148-7. Mannan scored 36, Irfan 21 and Imran 27. Saeed grabbed 4-22 and Umair 2-22. MM Group, in chase, got to 150-5 in 109 balls. Jabran smashed 53 in 36 balls and Muzammil 29. Umar Waseem took 2-21.
Black Hawks surprised Al-Saudi Green by 7 wickets. Al-Saudi Green produced 211-6. Nadeem Saad smashed 41 as he added 97 with Mazhar Abbasi (52). Nazeer Farooqui compiled 22, Owais 24, Waqas unbeaten 29. Abdulrafay grabbed 3-37. Black Hawks reached 213-3 in 111 balls. Asghar hammered 59, Adnan 38 and Arsalan an unbeaten 71 in 26 balls with 6 sixes and 6 fours.
Royal Brothers prevailed over Nawayeth by 33 runs. Royal Brothers was bowled out for 122. Waqas scored 24. Salman grabbed 4-13 and Majid 2-23. Nawayeth CC was bundled out for 89. Salman scored 23. Saeed scalped 3-19, Abdullah Khan 3-20, Kareem 2-18.
Bihar International Fighters defeated AGA by 4 wickets. AGA posted 177-8. Muzammil smashed 70 in 50 balls and Zia 34. Ashiq took 3-22 and Zain 3-30. Bihar International Fighters reached 179-6 in 102 balls. ZiaulHaq slammed 64, Kashif 36 and Faisal 44. Jaan took 2-60.
Apex Express trounced Deccan Youth by 2 wickets. Deccan Youth was restricted to 134-9. Ibrahim Nahdi hit 24, Shareef Q. 22 and Saleem 22. Farhan grabbed 4-24, Omer 2-22 and Asif 2-28. Apex Express coasted home, making 138-8 in 119 balls. Rizwan hit 26, Abubaker 24 and Asif Hamed unbeaten 33. Aslam took 3-18, Ibrahim 2-16 and Hidayath 2-35.
Indomie Universal Cup beat Cousins XI by 7 wkts. Cousins XI was bundled out for 112. Aqeel Haider stroked 23. Tariq Siddiqui took 3-21, Ziyaz 2-16, Bilal Peerzada 2-22.
Indomie Universal United Cup reached 115-3 in 74 balls. Aijaz Butt stroked 34 and Tariq Siddiqui 26. Bilal Ahmed remained unbeaten 27 and Ziyad hit 22. Jamal took 2-14.
Al-Mazroi Salonpas defeated Super Cricket Club by 4 wickets. Super Cricket Club was bundled out for 110. Faisal Jr. claimed 3-24 and Mubeen 3-28. Al-Mazroi Salonpas achieved 111-6 in 82 balls. Faisal made 34 and Sufiyan Laheri 22. Adnan grabbed 4-for 28.
MFCC trounced Arcoma by 8 wickets. Arcoma posted 139-6. Kaleem stroked 20, Ayaz 27 and Anwar Malik 34. Shafaqat took 2-25. MFCC, in response, faced 99 balls to get to 140 for 2. Farhan top scored with 71 in 40 balls, Naeem hit 25 and Jibran 23.
ATC thrashed ADI XI by 3 wickets. ADI XI was bowled out for 133. Qaiser stroked 41 and Nabeel 32. Shahbaz scalped 4-21 and Kareem 2-20. ATC chasing took 106 balls to get to 135 for 7. Amjad hit 28, Mukhtar 20 and Usman Jani unbeaten 32. Fahad took 3-27.
AGA had the last laugh against Jeddah Tigers by 6 wickets. Jeddah Tigers produced 160-5. Tahir hit 37, Sohail 41, Waheed 34 and Kumar 21. AGA, in reply, was home making 162-4 in 93 balls. Muzammil hit 44 and Fahad 61 in 29 balls. Imtiyaz grabbed 3-26.
