Hanifa Tigers and Hyderabad Strikers win

JEDDAH — Crown Blue, ALJ Toshiba, Al-Mazroi Salonpas, Deloitte, ATC, Hanifa Tigers, MFCC, Hyderabad Strikers and Nesma Holding emerged winners in the WPCA Summer Morning Tournament here.
Crown Blue defeated Zamil Cool Care by 43 runs. Crown Blue piled up 175 for 3 thanks to Arif Jutt's 84 off 48 balls as he first added 68 with Haseebul Hasan (45) and then 90 with Saleem Mehar (34). Zamil Cool Care was left stranded at 132 for 8. A.R. Rehman stroked 26 and Majid 40. Qurban took 2-28.
ALJ Toshiba crushed Sadafco by 8 wickets. Sadafco posted 144 for 7 after a disastrous start of 59 for 7. Shamsuddin Manjeri coming lower down the order hit an unbeaten 50 in 27 balls and added 85 for the unbroken 8th wicket with Asim (25 not out) to get to 144 for 7. Nasir scalped 2-15 and Bilal 2-21.
ALJ Toshiba got to the winning target of 145 for the loss of 2 wickets. Zahid stroked 62 in 31 balls as he added 68 with Azeem (43) and 61 with Basheer (50 not out).
Al-Mazroi Salonpas won against GBest IDB by 12 runs. Al-Mazroi Salonpas produced 147 for 9. Salman Patel stroked 23, Sufiyan Laheri 22 and Imran Topia 31. Uzair grabbed 3-32 and Aleem 2-27. GBest IDB could manage only 135 for 7. Khalid scored 26, Rizwan 25, Waseem 23 and Qaim an unbeaten 23. Faisal Jr. took 4 for 27 and Faisal 3 for 34.
Deloitte trounced INMA by one wicket on the last ball of the day. INMA mustered 142 for 8. Satish made 32 to add 109 for the 2nd wicket with Nadeem (67 in 35 balls). Once the partnership was broken they again lost wickets in a heap to be stranded at 142 for 8. Muzammil took 3 for 24 and M. Irfan 3 for 36. Deloitte reached 145 for 9. Emad smashed 53 and Imran 15. Qadeer grabbed 3 for 31.
ATC edged out Stallions by 6 runs. ATC produced 126 for 9. Naseer etched 20, Abdulrahim 19 and Kashif 19. Faizan took 3-25, Jawad 2-19 and Waqas 2-38. Stallions was bowled out for 120 after they were 72 for 2. Arsalan stroked 22, Asghar 21, Asim 20 and Hassan Ali 19. Naseer claimed 3 for 19 and Sajjad 2-18.
Hanifa Tigers prevailed over Black Hawks by 16 runs. Hanifa Tigers piled up 161 for 4. Umair Jutt blasted 76 in 49 balls as he first added 52 with Sami Khan (7) and then 62 with Abbas (54 not out). Ahsan took 2-20. Black Hawks in pursuit was bowled out for 145. Moon Shah hammered 54 as he stitched 97 with Ahsan (57). Adnan and Abbas were the destroyers with 4 for 25 and 4 for 23, respectively.
MFCC beat AGA by 25 runs. MFCC racked up 178 for 8. Jabran who made 53 first added 53 with Farhan (46) and then 72 with Imran (25). Fahad bagged 3 for 28 and Jehan 2-44. AGA responded with 153 for 9. Shahid made 34, Jaan 16, Malik Lal 15 and Mudassir 19. Farhan grabbed 3 for 44 and Shafaqat 3 for 18.
Hyderabad Strikers downed Ralco by 21 runs. Hyderabad Strikers produced 136 for 4. Abdul Mannan compiled an unbeaten 28, Tauheed Ahmed 19 and Irfan Ayazuddin 25. Ralco was bundled out for 115. Kasid resisted with 59 and Naeem 15. Irfan Ayazuddin grabbed 3 for 2, Jaweed 2-10, Alam 2-29 and Ebrahim 2-37.
Nesma Holding was declared winner against Kashmir Strikers. Kashmir Strikers posted 120 for 8. Shabbir stroked 52, Ahmed 22 and Samiullah Najjar 19. Zaafran scalped 2-32, Rana 2-20, Zafar 2-17 and Sheraz 2-23. Nesma holding scored 112 for 6 when the match was stopped. Sheraz hit 15 and Akram an unbeaten 36. Awais claimed 3 for 19 and Adil 2-19.
