Riyadh Blues tops KFSH Green in thriller

RIYADH — Riyadh Blues beat KFSH Green in a thrilling match of the SAIB T20 Tournament, which is organized by Riyadh Cricket Association (RCA) and sponsored by Saudi Arabian Investment Bank (SAIB).
The highlights of the round 8 were a superb century by Shakeel Sadiq of Riyadh Blues and a brilliant 4-wicket haul by Shakeel of Riyadh Warriors.
Huraymala League
Punjab Stars beat Cricket Samarwa by 50 runs. Punjab Stars posted 214-4. Talha scored 69, Zaheer 61 and Arsalan 36. Naeem picked up 3 wickets. Samarwa, in reply, made 164-6. Ali and Rashid hit 47 each. Rizwan and Zaheer bagged 2 wickets each.
Riyadh Blues got the better of KFSH Green by 7 runs in a closely-contested game. Riyadh Blues tallied 201-6. Shakeel Sadiq top scored with 106. Mansoor Ali claimed 3 wickets. KFSH Green was restricted to 194-4. Ubaid blasted 66, Kausar 52 and Sohail 40. Fayaz took 3 wickets.
Lahore Badshah Green thrashed Pak Force by 97 runs. Lahore Badshah Green amassed 174-5. Afzal scored 43 and Usman 40. Omar picked up 2 wickets. Pak Force was bundled out for 77. Mohsin hit 27. Usman, Ikram and Akram took 2 wickets each.
Riyadh Warriors defeated FAST CC by 36 runs. Warriors were all out for 136. Shahzad scored 43. Abdul Majeed grabbed 3 wickets, while Zubair and Salman claimed 2 wickets each. FAST CC, in reply, was restricted to 100, thanks to brilliant bowling of Shakeel who took 4-21. He was also ably supported by Premnawaz (3 wickets) and Ayaz (2).
