Lahore Badshah and KFSH Green scored big wins in round 2 matches of SCC Cup at RCA Cricket Complex in Riyadh recently.
In Huraymala League, Riyadh Warriors got the better of Lahore Badshah White by 6 wickets. Lahore Badshah White scored 167. Adnan made 39 and Fahad 34. Nouman picked up 4 wickets. Warriors achieved the target in 16.3 overs. Ayaz remained unbeaten on 100. Fahad and Samar claimed two wickets each.
Cricket Samarwa downed Kohsar Cricket Club (KCC) by 27 runs. Samarwa posted 203 with major contributions coming from Abubaker (68), Asif Sheikh (41) and Ali (35). Qasim Abbasi scalped 2 wickets. KCC, in reply, managed only 176. Kashid hit 32 and Sajjid 30. Ali and Shoaib bagged 3 wickets each and Asif Sheikh 2.
Watan Pal CC thumped Pak Eagles by 5 wickets. Pak Eagles put on 149. Wahid scored 31 and Anwar 27. Watan Pal CC chased the target in 17.3 overs. Abdul Quraish blasted 64 and Fazal 28. Masood claimed 2 wickets.
KFSH Green humbled Stallions by 8 wickets. Stallions made 163-8 with Zia scoring 86 and Imran 22. Safdar took 2 wickets. KFSH Green reached the target in 15.3 overs. Adnan hit 69 and Ubaid 46.
Riyadh Fighters thrashed Sialkot XI by 5 wickets. Sialkot XI, batting first, scored 188. Majid Khan picked up 4 wickets, including a hat trick and Yassir 3. Riyadh Fighters was home in 18.3 overs. Imran Butt notched 54, Imran Younous 47 and Yassir 41.
FAST CC edged L'usine CC by 14 runs. FAST CC put on 182. Ijaz notched 63 and Alamzaib 30. L'usine was restricted to 168. Ayaz bagged 2 wickets. Super CC smacked Punjab Lions by 84 runs. Super CC carved out 241-7. Rashid Mirza played an outstanding innings of 115 off 44 balls. Other major contributions came from Adnan (31), Fahad (30) and Rafaqat (30). Aftab scalped 3 wickets and Fiaz 2. Punjab Lions, in reply, managed 157-9. Tahir slashed 24 and Fiaz 22. Abbas took 3 wickets, while Rashid and Saleem got 2 each.
Punjab Stars defeated Hyderabadi Warriors by 51 runs. Punjab Stars posted 203 thanks to Nouman Kiyani (66), Rustam (32) and Sagheer (30). Warriors could manage only 152-9. Asif, Rustam and Zaheer grabbed 2 wickets each. In Hayer League, TBCC thrashed Kingdom Warriors by 136 runs. TBCC scored 193-6. Faisal hit 54 and Samnad 40. Kingdom Warriors was bundled out for 57. Asif and Akhil pocketed 3 wickets each, while Cheriyan got 2.
The match between Green Bangla and White Star CC ended in a tie. White star made 187-9. Umar notched 38 and Ashique 36. Abdullah took 4 wickets, while Al Amin and Badol bagged 2 each. In reply, Green Bangla scored 187-8 with Badol scoring 67, Zakir 32 and Tuhin 30. Asif and Rashid scalped 2 wickets each.
In other games Indian Strikers thrashed Riyadh Royals by 158 runs and Tigers beat Pak United by 68 runs.
