Semis lineup set in SAIB Cricket Tournament

KFSH Green will meet Pak Eagles, while Super CC will play Riyadh Warriors in the Huraymala League T20 Tournament semifinals following exciting wins in the SAIB Cricket Tournament here recently.
The tournament is sponsored by Saudi Arabian Investment Bank (SAIB) and organized by Riyadh Cricket Association (RCA).
KFSH Green beat Hyderabadi Warriors by 6 wickets. Warriors, batting first, scored 161-8. Waseem hit 58. Safdar picked up 2 wickets. KFSH Green reached the target in 16.4 overs. Kausar remained unbeaten on 64 and Suhail added 30. Sajid took 2 wickets. Man of the Match — Kausar.
Pak Eagles thrashed Sialkot CC by 6 wickets. Sialkot posted 140. Tahir, Wahid and Hanif claimed 2 wickets each. Pak Eagles reached home comfortably for the loss of 4 wickets. Shaukat scored 53, Altaf Tahir 37 and Kifayat 29. Man of the Match — Shaukat.
Riyadh Warriors downed Swat Tigers by 6 wickets. Swat Tigers was all out for 132 as Amjad made 29, Zaheen 27 and Israr 23. Abdul Ghafoor and Ayaz bagged 3 wickets each, while Premnawaz and Shakeel got 2 each. Abdul Ghafoor claimed a hat trick. Warriors achieved the target in 13.1 overs.
Abdulaziz top scored with 69, while Abdul Rahim added 32. Israr scalped 2 wickets. Man of the Match — Abdulaziz.
Super CC edged Pak Force CC by one wicket in a thrilling encounter. Pak Force, batting first, put on 197-3 as Gohar remained unbeaten on 51, Zohaib added 38, Imran 32, Qasim 28 and Faisal 28. Mudassar and Babar picked up a wicket apiece. Super CC chased the target in 18 overs. Nouman mustered 53 and Azhar 45. Waqas Butt played a match-winning innings of 50 off 22 balls. Imran picked up 3 wickets. Man of the Match — Waqas Butt.
In the Hayer League T20 Tournament quarterfinals, Riyadh Fighters PPF beat FAST CC by 6 wickets. FAST CC posted 144. Qaiser and Salman bowled well to claim 4 and 3 wickets, respectively. Riyadh Fighters PPF reached the target in 17.3 overs. Jahangir Abbas remained unbeaten on 77, while Awais Mughal made 32. Man of the Match — Jahangir Abbas.
Lahore Badshah Green CC got the better of Indian Strikers by 20 runs. Lahore Badshah managed 188-7. Major contributions came from Atif (51), Usman (50) and Jahangir (35). For Strikers, Anish picked up 3 wickets. Indian Striker cold manage only 168-9. Sunil scored 42 and Junaid 21. Muhammed Furqan was the pick of the bowlers with 5-25. Wasim also bowled well and got 2 wickets. Man of the Match — Muhammed Furqan.
Watan Pal CC beat White Star CC by 22 runs. Watan Pal scored 153 as Sulaiman scored 64 and Quraish 22. White Star was restricted to 131. Zainullah bagged 3 wickets, while Quraish, Sulaiman and Basit got 2 each. Man of the Match — Sulaiman.
PTI CC downed Patriots CC in the last quarterfinal. In the semifinals, Riyadh Fighters PPF will face PTI CC, while Lahore Badshah Green CC will compete against Watan Pal CC.
