Pak Shaheen to meet Lahore Lions for Amex crown

RIYADH — Semifinals were played in Al-Kharj, Huraymala, Hayer and Diriyah Leagues of the RCA Amex T20 Tournament, which is organized by Riyadh Cricket Association (RCA) and sponsored by the American Express Saudi Arabia.
Al-Kharj League
Lahore Lions outclassed Sama Steel by 6 wickets. Electing to field first, Lahore Lions restricted Sama Steel to 160. Nawaz bowled well and took 4 wickets. Mansoor and Muzaffar bagged 2 wickets each. Rashid Mirza made 49 and Asif Khan 37. Lahore Lions reached the target in 18 overs. Qamar and Muzaffar remained unbeaten on 45 and 33, respectively. Asif Khan and Adnan shared 2 wickets each. Man of the Match: Mohammed Nawaz.
In the second semifinal, Pak Shaheen thrashed Lahore Badshah by 8 wickets. Lahore Badshah started well and looked set for a huge total in the first few overs, but then lost wickets at regular intervals and in the end managed 194-7. Malik Fahad top scored with 69 and Imran Khan 46. Faisal Khan continued his good form with the ball and took 3 wickets. Ibrarul Haq also got 2 wickets. Pak Shaheen chased the target in 17 overs. Abdul Waheed made yet another century and remained unbeaten on 100. Abdul Wahab added 44. Malik Fahad took 2 wickets. Man of the Match: Abdul Waheed.
Huraymala League
Roadecho Stallions downed Fonte Star by 4 wickets. Fonte Star, batting first, posted 193-7. Shahbaz Khan was the top scorer with 79 and Bilal Wani hit 53. Ayaz picked up 4 wickets and Faisal 2. Stallions achieved the target in 19.1 overs. Iqbal played sensibly and guided his team to victory with an unbeaten 63. He was well supported by Adnan (43). Shakeel and Shahbaz took one wicket apiece. Man of the Match: Iqbal.
Friends CC got the better of Punjab Star by 26 runs in a low-scoring match. Friends CC scored 150-8. Qaiser hit 41 and Umar Farooq 37. Touseef claimed 3 wickets. Punjab Stars, in reply, managed 124-7. Umar Farooq, Nouman and Jabbar took 2 wickets each. Man of the Match: Umar Farooq.
Hayer League
Lahore Badshah Green thrashed Riyadh Fighters PPF by 127 runs. Lahore Badashah Green, batting first, posted a huge total of 260-5. Zeeshan Butt played brilliantly for his 141 off 64 balls. Sahib Zahideen added 37 and Jahangir 27. Salman and Adil grabbed 2 wickets each. Riyadh Fighters PPF, in reply, was restricted to 133-9. Qaiser hit 63. Awais, Usman and Atef claimed 2 wickets each. Man of the Match: Zeeshan Butt.
In the second semifinal, Green Bangla outplayed Nouman Gymkhana by 101 runs. Green Bangla tallied 249-3. Kakon Khan blasted 101 off 47 balls. Mustafa contributed 69 and Shahid 59. Nouman Gymkhana managed 148. Zahid picked up 3 wickets. Man of the Match: Kakon Khan.
Diriyah League
Talented CC beat Pak Stallions by 6 wickets. Pak Stallions posted 164-9. Ansar played brilliantly and scored 100. Amir Hussain bagged 3 wickets. Talented CC got to the target in 17.2 overs, thanks to Abdulrahman's 54 and Affan's 47. Aqeel and Ashfaq clamed 1 wicket each. Man of the Match: Abdulrahman.
Al-Harbi CC downed Bannu Eagles by 38 runs. Al-Harbi CC, batting first, scored 203. Arshad made 60 and Mohib 44. Pervaiz grabbed 3 wickets. Eagles, in reply, were all out for 165. Shaheen top scored with 59. Moin was the wrecker-in-chief with 5 wickets. Man of the Match: Moin.
