RIYADH — Pak Shaheen, KFSH Green, Nouman Gymkhana and Kashmir Strikers clinched honors in the American Express T20 Tournament, organized by Riyadh Cricket Association (RCA) here recently.

In Al-Kharj League, Pak Shaheen beat Lahore Badshah by 6 wickets. Lahore Badshah scored 176 runs. Abuzar, Javed, Abdulwahab and Ateeq Ahmed picked up 2 wickets each. Pak Shaheen achieved the target on the last ball. Ateeq Ahmed topscored with 44. Abdulwahab added 41 and Ishaq 35. Man of the Match: Ateeq Ahmed.

In Huraymala League, KFSH Green downed Hyderabadi Warriors by 8 wickets. Hyderabadi Warriors managed 149. Imroz hit 38. Junaid and Tahir claimed 2 wickets each. In reply, KFSH Green coasted home in 15.3 overs. Ubaid Lodhi remained unbeaten on 72 off 45 balls, while Sohail added 43. Man of the Match: Ubaid Lodhi.

In Hayer League, Nouman Gymkhana prevailed over Lahore Badshah Green by 20 runs. Gymkhana tallied 190-9. Aftab scored 48, Shahzad 33 and Hafeez 33. Lahore Badshah Green, in reply, managed 170-8. Aftab took 3 wickets, while Zahid and Mubashir got 2 each. Man of the Match: Aftab.

In Diriyah League, Kashmir Strikers pipped Sinmar CC in the super over. Kashmir Strikers, batting first, posted 225. Bilal Wani played a brilliant knock of 122. Shabbir and Sabzar added 37 and 21, respectively. Nishtar picked up 3 wickets. In reply, Sinmar CC also scored 225. Nawas remained unbeaten on 96, while Nishtar hit 44. In the super over, Sinmar CC made 9. Kashmir Strikers blasted 10 runs in 4 deliveries to win the most exciting final of the day. Man of the Match: Bilal Wani.

Earlier in Diriyah League semifinals, Kashmir Strikers beat Kashmir-XI, while Sinmar CC beat Pasban CC.

Chargé d' Affaires at Pakistan Embassy Khayyam Akbar was the chief guest during the opening ceremony. Other guests of honor included representatives of RCA sponsors Saudi ORIX, American Express and Saudi Investment Bank and chairmen of all RCA-registered leagues Dr. Zahoor Anwaar Al-Hassan, Fareeq Abdulwahid Abdulhameed, Dr. Ghazdar and Dr. Kamal Al-Hassan. The ceremony was hosted by RCA General Secretary Nasir Abbasi. Speaking on the occasion, RCA CEO Nadeem Babar appreciated all RCA clubs for playing very disciplined cricket. RCA President and Chairman, Executive Council, Saudi Cricket Center, Tariq Javed thanked all the sponsors for supporting RCA.

Chief guest lauded RCA's efforts in organizing cricket in the central region. He assured full support of Pakistan Embassy for the promotion of cricket in the Kingdom.
