The fifth round of SCC Cup 2016 saw thrilling encounters between the bat and ball. This tournament is sponsored by Saudi Cricket Centre (SCC) and organized by Riyadh Cricket Association (RCA).
In Huraymala League, Pak Eagles got the better of FAST CC by 11 runs. Pak Eagles scored 193-5. Tahir hit 48 and Shoukat 46. FAST, in reply, managed 184-6. Tahir picked up 2 wickets.
Fonte Star edged Riyadh Warriors by 13 runs. Fonte Star posted 201-4. Waseem Jutt scored 106 off 62 balls. Bilal Wani added 40 and Safdar 25. Nouman claimed 2 wickets. Riyadh Warriors was restricted to 188-6. Ayaz made 80 and Sameer 39. Afaq scalped 2 wickets.
Swat Tigers edged Watan Pal by 36 runs. Swat Tigers scored 233-6 with Amjad Ali making 123 and Jalal 26. Qaiser took 2 wickets. Watan Pal managed 197 as Qaiser scored 45 and Sulaiman 35. Amjad Ali notched 3 wickets.
Pak Force downed Kohsar Cricket Club (KCC) by 17 runs. Pak Force posted 189 with Gohar scoring 61 and Mohsin 54. Mateen Abbasi took 2 wickets. KCC could score only 172 with Meraj Abbasi making 52 and Saddam 26. Imran Raja bagged 3 wickets.
KFSH Green beat Sinmar by 60 runs. KFSH Green posted 210-4. Kausar hit 111 off 62 balls and Sohail Lateef 56. Hazim and Zainal picked up a wicket each. Sinmar was restricted to 150. Hazim added 31 and Ashique 29. Safdar bagged 4 wickets, while Tahir Abbasi and Sohail Bakhshi got 2 each.
Lahore Badshah White edged Nouman Gymkhana by 3 runs. Lahore Badshah White posted 204. Zahid Amir scored 101 and Fahad Malik 51. Nouman Gymkhana managed 201, in reply. Fahad Malik claimed 5 wickets and Abdullah 3.
Cricket Samarwa punished Punjab Stars by 7 wickets. Punjab Stars managed 155. Roshan Talwari was the top scorer with 44. Zafar claimed 3 wickets and Amjad 2. Cricket Samarwa reached the target in 14.5 overs. Ahsan remained unbeaten on 87 off 43 balls, while Waqar added 40. Rustam and Nouman scalped a wicket each.
In Diriyah League, Pak Riderz thumped Eirad Travels by 68 runs. Pak Riderz scored 177 as Faisal and Ahsan added 30 each. Eirad Travels managed 109. Rashid and Fawad got 3 wickets each.
Naz Cricket Club beat Phoenix by 8 wickets. Phoenix posted 197-9. Ammar scored 39 and Noman 35. Saqib picked up 3 wickets. Naz achieved the target in 17.4 overs. Qaiser made 81 and Ansar 77. Asif and Furqan bagged a wicket each.
Youngsters XI beat Hara United by 65 runs. Youngsters posted 194 with Haider and Yassir scoring 38 each, while Abdulrahman added 26. Zain claimed 2 wickets. Hara United managed 129.
Al-Harbi edged Challengers by 1 run. Al-Harbi posted 184 with Haider (52) and Sohail (27) among the runs. Nasir scalped 5 wickets and Naleem 3.
Challengers XI managed 183, in reply. Karthick scored 52 and Hassan 39. Shahid bagged 3 wickets and Murad 2.
Professionals Creation beat Delhi Dare Devils by 24 runs. Professionals Creation posted 182-8. Fenil remained unbeaten on 97 off 59 balls.
Faizullah added 27. Sultan and Zaheer got a wicket each. Delhi Dare Devils scored 158. Ramzan hit 58 and Nadeem 34. Dileep took 5 wickets and Faizullah 2.
