Gensoul Lion keeps winning

JEDDAH — Gensoul Lion recorded its fourth victory in a row by beating Cinnabon 88-86 in the 40 & above category in the 2016 Titan Watch-JBL Basketball Tournament here in Khalidia basketball court Jeddah.
The winner managed to survive the last offense as the ball bounced into the hands of Umlas for an easy put back. Umlas scored 41 points for the winner and was adjudged the JBL Best Player of the Game, while Aquino led the loser with 28 points.
This tournament is principally sponsored by Titan Watch of Al-Hussaini & Al-Yahya Investment Group (Othman Al-Hussaini). The co-sponsors are Al-Aziziyah Islamic Center (Sheikh Ahmad and Sheikh Ali Ajlani), Mandhoubiyah Islamic Propagation Office, Jeddah Dawah Center, Giordano Fashions (Ahmadullah), Ric Santos Printing and Radian Massage Cream (Mahmoud Omer).
VICCM of Dennis Elmenzo defeated Pinas Hotshot 109-88. The winner caught the loser flat-footed throughout the game. David scored 29 points for the winner and was named the Titan Watch Best Player of the Game. Ruben top scored with 22 points for the loser.
Pilipinas Khalidiyah Tambayz of coach Ronnie Carino, donning a new uniform, scored over Knights 100-98 to stay alive for the next round. The winner now needs to win its last game against the mighty Movenpick Resort to make the semifinals. Garcia top scored with 31 points for the winner and was selected as the Giordano Best Player of the Game. Ralf David collected 22 points for the loser.
NRF of coach Gerry Acosta beat Khalidia Tambayz 103-101. The winner's offense was unstoppable but the loser showed heart till the final buzzer. Titan Watch Best Player of the Game Flordeliza collected 23 points for the winner. Garcia scored 26 points for the loser.
Movenpick Resort Al-Nawras Jeddah showed it is the number one contender for the title in the strong division against Pabebe. Dula scored 38 points for the winner and was adjudged the Radian Massage Cream Best Players of the Game. Santos top scored with 24 points for the loser.
