Tetra Pak Hataw and Senior Citizens shine

JEDDAH — Tetra Pak Hataw of Fred Vasquez defeated Boss Team of Bulent Kozak 77-61 in the Tetra Pak Inter-Color Sports Meet at the 2016 Titan Watch-JBL Basketball Tournament here.
The winner managed to hold the driver's seat throughout the game. Eugene Baxal top scored with 15 points for the winner and was adjudged the JBL Player of the Game. Butch Vengua scored 22 points for the loser.
The tournament is principally sponsored by Titan Watch of Al-Hussaini & Al-Yahya Investment Group (Othman Al-Hussaini). The co-sponsors are: Al-Aziziyah Islamic Center (Sheikh Ahmad and Sheikh Ali Ajlani), Mandhoubiyah Islamic Propagation Office, Jeddah Dawah Center, Giordano Fashions (Ahmadullah) and Ric Santos Printing.
Senior Citizens of Aidin Virtucio beat Cool Jack 95-93. Louijie Laput had 37 points for the winner and was named the JBL Player of the Game. Jomar Nalus chipped in with 38 points for the loser.
Gensoul Eagle of coach Ernel Paner defeated UDG 104-93. Lacson scored 25 points for Gensoul Eagle and was adjudged the Titan Watch Player of the Game, while Villanueva had 29 points for the loser.
Malmons of Hernan Sena edged Llamados 99-96 in overtime. The winner displayed heart in the crucial seconds of the game to secure a thrilling win. Compasano collected 32 points for the winner to claim the JBL Player of the Game honors. Mickey netted 46 points for the loser.
In Thursday's matches, Khalidia Aces overcame Jeddah Titans 82-80. King Acosta top scored with 27 points for the winner and was pronounced the Giordano Fashions Player of the Game. Enage had 18 points for the loser.
Gensoul Lion of coach Glenn Musngi thrashed Paninos 96-79 for its second straight win. Bong Umlas chipped in with 33 points for the winner and was named the JBL Player of the Game, while Ernie Cabawatan scored 48 points for the loser.
Cinnabon of Jhun Ducusin defeated Khalidia 40s 87-75. The winner applied pressure defense in the fourth quarter to secure its third consecutive win. Doronilla had 23 points for the winner and was adjudged the Titan Watch Player of the Game, while Aspar scored 18 points for the loser.
