Pinas Hotshot and Khalidia Tambayz win

JEDDAH — Pinas Hotshot of Ruben Del Rosario beat Llamados 100-78 in the 2016 Titan Watch-JBL Basketball Tournament at Khalidia basketball courts here.
The winner with its run and gun offense was unstoppable in the final quarter. The loser tried hard but committed crucial errors in the dying minutes of the match. Jaspher top scored with 41 points for the winner and was adjudged the Titan Player of the Game. Mickey Leyva and Edward had 24 and 23 points, respectively, for the loser.
The tournament is principally sponsored by Titan Watch of Al Hussaini & Al Yahya Investment Group (Othman Al Husssaini). The co-sponsors are Al Aziziyah Islamic Center (Sheikh Ahmad and Sheikh Ali Ajlani), Mandhoubiyah Islamic Propagation Office, Jeddah Dawah Center, Giordano Fashions (Ahmadullah) and Ric Santos Printing.
UDG of Ariel Acedera defeated Khalidia 40s 104-101. The winner played with only 6 players, but still managed to down its rival. Renato Camartin scored 23 points for the winner with his barreling moves and was adjudged the JBL Player of the Game. Martinez led the loser with 21 points.
Fame Thunder of Miramonte Brothers edged Khalidia Aces 99-97. Marquez had 40 points for the winner and was adjudged the Titan Player of the Game. King Acosta top scored for the loser with 25 points.
In Thursday's matches, Khalidia Tambayz of coach Ronnie Carino beat Jedsa16 111-79. The winner had a home court advantage and the loser was playing only its second game at Khalidia. The winner continued to connect in its offense, while the loser missed many important shots. Ricky Sakuragi Serrano scored 27 points for the winner and was adjudged the Giordano Player of the Game. Jerico chipped in with 33 points for the loser.
NRF of Gerry Acosta defeated Pabebe 112-79. The winner showed its offensive talent at the start of the game. Ali top scored for the winner with 20 points and was named the JBL Player of the Game. Duhay Long Sud had 23 points for the loser.
