Malmons and Khalidia 40s win

JEDDAH — Malmons of Hernan Sena beat Old Dawgs 73-70 in the 2016 Titan Watch-JBL Basketball Tournament here at Khalidia basketball court here.
The loser was leading by 3 points with 25 seconds left in the clock but a crucial turn over gave the winner its first win in two games. Hernando Sena top scored with 22 points for the winner and was adjudged the Titan Watch Best Player, while Aries scored 22 points for the loser.
This tournament is principally sponsored by Titan Watch of Al-Hussaini & Al-Yahya Investment Group (Othman Al-Husssaini). The co-sponsors are: Al-Aziziyah Islamic Center (Sheikh Ahmad and Sheikh Ali Ajlani), Mandhoubiyah Islamic Propagation Office, Jeddah Dawah Center, Giordano Fashions (Ahmadullah) and Ric Santos Printing.
Khalidia 40s of coach Ronnie Carino defeated Paninos 89-77. The winner's offense gained momentum in the final quarter. Eric Custona led the winner with 26 points and was named the JBL Best Player. Madrilejo had 32 points for the loser.
Jeddah Titans of Harris Penaranda scored over VICCM 102-78. Titans exploited the loose defense of rival and utilized its open man in the final quarter to find basket. Samson scored 23 points for the winner and was selected as the Giordano Fashions Best Player. Dela Cuardian top scored with 29 points for the loser.
On Friday, Movenpick Resort of Joefrey Barbudo beat Jedsa16 94-85. The winner displayed winning form and choked the offense of the loser. Jonathan had 38 points for the winner and was adjudged the Titan Watch Best Player. Guevarra scored 30 points for the loser.
Fame Thunder of Miramonte Brothers defeated LLamados 79-68. The winner played its offense well in the fourth quarter. Gallano chipped in with 18 points and was adjudged the JBL Best Player. Mickey Leyva collected 24 points for the loser.
Cinnabon of team manager Jhun Ducusin beat UDG 86-81 for its back-to-back win. The loser led up to third quarter but suffered foul trouble in the dying minutes. Doronilla led the winner with 23 points and was named the Titan Watch Best Player. Burgos poured in 52 points for the loser.
