The tournament is being sponsored by ACE Travels and Tours for the sixth straight time and organized by the Jeddah Cricket Association (JCA). Saudi Bitucorp elected to bat first and piled up a huge total of 208-5 in its quota of 18 overs against the Peeran-XI. Ahmed Shah scored 59 runs, while Sher Bahadur remained not out on 46, Shabbir Khan 42, Afsar Khan 26 and Munir Khan 18. Hanif and Azeem claimed a wicket each. In reply Peeran-XI team was all out for 148, thereby losing the match by 60 runs. Faizan scored 37 runs, Nadeem 30, Hanif 16 and Adnan 15. Shabbir Khan was the wrecker-in-chief as he took 5-23 , Khalid had 2-29, while Wasim took 1-10. The second match saw Young Athletes take the strike first against the Peeran-XI. It made 177-9 in 18 overs. Usman hit 43 runs, Naseer 40, Mehtab 22, while Sofiyan and Misbah scored 18 each. Skipper Zaheer Peeran claimed 4-29, Azeem 3-33, while Faizan and Sudhir bagged a wicket each. In reply Peeran-XI was bundled out for a paltry 92. Hanif 14, Adnan 13 and Naseer 10 were among the runs. Waleed and Rashid claimed three wickets each, while Hafiz had two and Mehtab one for the Young Athletes.
