JEDDAH: The Saudi German Hospital beat Cougar-XI by four wickets, while Zaheer Peeran-XI beat Old Students-XI by five runs in the ninth week matches of Division-I of the tournament sponsored by ACE Tours and Travels and organized by the Jeddah Cricket Association (JCA). Saudi Cougar-XI batting first scored 159-3 wickets in the allotted 18 overs against Saudi German Hospital. Ashique Ali made 30 runs, while Ali contributed 21, Imran unbeaten 27 and Fida 41. Aftab bagged two wickets and Mohammad Irfan one. Saudi German Hospital in reply reached the target 163-6 in 17 overs thereby winning the match by four wickets. Syed Taqiuddin made 60 runs while Yunus Khan remained unbeaten on 53 and Mohammad Riyaz on 35. Abdul Rehman and Mohammad took two wickets each. In the other match Peeran-XI batting first scored 162-6 in 18 overs. Hanif scored 40, Hamid 30, Munir Khan 19, Munir Khan 15 and Afsar Khan 17. Hassan, Asif and Tausif took two wickets each. The Old Students-XI in reply could score only 157-9 in 18 overs, losing the match by five runs. Murtuza with 37 was the highest run-scorer. Usman added 24, Hamid 21 and Tahseen 14. Shabbir took four wickets and Munir Khan two. __
