Top teams reach RCA Amex Twenty20 quarters

RIYADH — Round six of the RCA American Express (Amex) T20 Tournament saw top teams reach the quarterfinals of the event here recently.
Huraymala League
Super CC beat Pak Force by 58 runs. Super racked up 225-4. Khawar (54), Shahid (47) and Farooq (29) were among the runs. Imran bagged 2 wickets. In reply, Pak Force scrabbled to 167. Zohaib hit 81, while Mohsin and Sher added 23 each. Suhail took 3 wickets and Imran 2.
Sulaiman XI thumped Insaf by 5 wickets. Insaf piled up 184 for 6. Ejaz, Mudassir and Akhtar took 2 wickets each. Sulaiman chased down the target in 17.2 overs for the loss of 5 wickets. Akhtar (53) and Afzal (35) completed the chase for Sulaiman XI.
Stallions was humbled by Sinmar by 31 runs. Sinmar put on 197. Navas (75) and Ishtiaq (51) scored fifties. Junaid and Zia took 2 wickets each. Stallions was bowled out for 166 in 15.3 overs. Ashfaq top scored with 36. Akbar picked up 4 wickets, while Navas and Rasheek took 2 each.
Fuchs beat Patriots by 62 runs. Fuchs collected 204 with Zahid smashing 52, Arif 46 and Javed 35. Asad got 2 wickets. Patriots was boundled out for 142. Abdullah was the top scorer with 41. Ali grabbed 5 wickets and Zahid 2.
Hayer League
Kashmir Striker won a do or die against Lahore Badshah Green. Lahore Badshah Green scored 185 for 4. Zahidain, Afzal and Shani scored 66, 50 and 39, respectively. Umar claimed 2 wickets. Kashmir Strikers held its nerves to achieve the target in 19.2 overs. Majid (56) and Ishfaq (38) batted well. Atif took 3 wickets and Wasim 2.
Smashers humbled Pak Eagles by 20 runs. Smashers collected 195. Fahim (37), Tahir (35) and Yasir (33) were the key scorers. Pak Eagles could manage only 175. Fahim took 3 wickets and Ahmed 2.
Pak Saudi Warriors flattened White Star by 22 runs. Pak Saudi Warriors compiled 210 for 7. Aijaz (53) and Saif (50) hit fifties. Irfan and Naeem took 2 wickets each. White Star was restricted to 188. Naeem blasted 79. Nisar and Saif scalped 2 wickets each.
Fast CC humbled Shumaisi Fighters by 98 runs. Fast posted 177 with Emad (38) and Ayaz (34) scoring the bulk of the runs. Shumaisi Fighters fumbled to 79. Majeed took 3 wickets, while Hussain, Ijaz and Ayaz claimed 2 each.
