RIYADH — Kamran Akram's double ton lifted Falcons into the RCA Saudi Orix Tournament semifinals here.
In Huraymala League, Falcons thumped Imran-XI by 85 runs thanks to Kamran's 211. Falcons posted 285. Kamran hit 211 off just 77 balls. He smashed 16 sixes and 20 fours. Azmat took 3 wickets and Hazrat 2. In reply, Imran-XI could score only 200. Hazrat top scored with 56 and Hussain added 33. Siraj took 2 wickets.
Riyadh Warriors humbled Sulaiman-XI by 5 runs. Riyadh Warriors put on 171. Asif with 56 and Ayaz with 46 were the main contributors. Mudasir took 2 wickets. Sulaiman-XI was restricted to 166. Ansar smashed 48 and Afzal 35. Ayaz picked up 3 wickets, while Shakeel and Azeez claimed 2 each.
Stallions flattened AKCC by 6 wickets. AKCC piled up 183. Adnan took 2 wickets and Ashfaq 3. Stallions chased down the target in the 17th over. Imran hit 73 and Adnan 53.
Fonte Stars humbled crescent by 53 runs. Fonte Stars posted 185. Bilal Wani (71) and Safdar (50) smashed fifties. Mubashir took 3 wickets. Crescent was restricted to 132 in 20 overs. Qasim bowled exceptionally well and took 5 wickets and Yasir 2. Asim was the only batsman to show some fight with 31.
In Hayer League, Thales cruised to 3-run win over White Star CC. Thales piled up 213. Aziz smashed 112 and Obeid 46. Qasim took 4 wickets, while Rizvan and Adil bagged 2 each. White Star could manage only 210. Irfan made 69 and Aizan 43. Aziz took 3 wickets and Wahid 2.
Pak Eagles downed Riyadh Royals by 93 runs. Pak Eagles put 218 on the board. Farooq blasted 60, Altaf 57 and Shaukat 40. Riyadh Royals was restricted to 125. Fakhar made 29. Wahidullah and Farooq scalped 3 wickets each.
Kashmir Strikers registered a 74-run victory over Kingdom Warriors. Kashmir Strikers collected 197 with Mushtaq (65) and Ishfaq (48) among the runs. Kingdom Warriors was bowled out for 123. Hussain scored 24. Mushtaq claimed 4 wickets. Zafar and Sabzar took 2 wickets each.
In Diriyah League, L'usine CC defeated Pak Saudi Warriors by 4 wickets. Pak Saudi Warriors piled up 182 with Raza making 72 and Bilal 33. L'usine was home in 19 overs. Gamage scored 67 and Abdul Rauf 36. Bilal and Saif took 2 wickets each.
