RIYADH — Matches in the American Express T20 Tournament witnessed a strong contest between the bat and ball here.
The tournament is sponsored by American Express and organized by Riyadh Cricket Association.
Huraymala League
Pak Force won a cliffhanger against Saudi Jaguars by 2 runs. Pak Force set a below average target of 145. Syed Rizwan bowled splendidly and took 6 wickets while Faisal got 2. In reply, Saudi Jaguars managed only 143. Faisal (42) and Furqan (32) were the main scorers.
Riyadh Fighters humbled Sinmar by 29 runs. Riyadh Fighters posted 194. Imran smashed 90 and Nusrat 35. In reply, Sinmar was restricted to 165 in 18 overs. Bilal and Yasir grabbed 3 wickets each.
Fonte Star registered a 6-wicket victory over Super Cricket Club. Batting first, Super collected 177. Khawar played a blazing innings of 79, Shafiq chipped in with 48. Afaq took 4 wickets and Ali bagged 2. In reply, Fonte Star chased the target in 16.2 overs. Safdar hit 36, Bilal 30 and Waseem 31.
Yousafzai lost to AKCC by 42 runs. AKCC put on a huge total of 278. Imran (54) and Kamal (52) smashed fifties, while Nadeem contributed 38. Zahoor took 2 wickets. In reply, Yousafzai fought well but was restricted to 236. Mohsin top-scored with 47, while Kifaiyt and Shahid added 46 each. Nadeem claimed 2 wickets.
Patriots defeated Dirab Golf Club by 77 runs. Patriots racked up 192 with Amir scoring 49 and Abdullah 43. Aurangzaib took 3 wickets, while Imran got 2. Dirab Golf scrabbled to a meager 115. Milen with 31 was the only batsman to put up some fight. Adil was the pick of the bowlers as he grabbed 5 wickets. Hidayat and Asad shared 2 wickets each.
Hyderabadi Warriors lost to Sulaiman-XI by 2 wickets. Hyderabadi Warriors was all out for 145. Sulaiman took 5 wickets, while Aijaz and Shakeel had 2 each. Sulaiman-XI reached the target in 14 overs. Afzal smashed 40 and Shakeel 34 to ensure victory for Sulaiman-XI.
KFSH Green won against Fuchs by 56 runs. KFSH Green scored 189 as Adnan scored 45 and Suhail 32. Jawaid took 3 wickets and Mustakeem 2. Fuchs was bundled out for 133. Zahid scored 26. Mansoor displayed his experience taking 5 wickets and Tahir sent 2 players packing.

Punjab Stars cruised to victory over Shumaisi Fighters by 7 wickets. Batting first, Shumaisi Fighters fumbled to 137. Iqbal and Rustam took 4 and 3 wickets, respectively. In reply, Punjab Stars chased down the target in 14 overs. Yasif played a classy inning of 78.
Pasban humbled Smashers by 73 runs. Batting first, Pasban collected 222. Arshad scored the only ton (106) of the day. Murad batted well for his 62. Smashers were all out for 149. Zainullah grabbed 3 wickets, while Ali took 2.
Tigers lost to Lahore Badshah Green by 30 runs. Lahore Badshah Green posted 163. Fahad (54) and Atif (51) were among the runs. Faraz and Chandan took 2 wickets each. In reply, Tigers lost their path and fumbled to 133. Riaz scored 32 and Chandan 25. Sami, Awais, Waqas and Waseem took 2 wickets each.
Aisco won against Green Bangla by 5 wickets. Green Bangla collected 157. Kakon and Alamin scored 45 and 42, respectively. Amjad took 3 wickets and Naimat 2. In reply, Aisco rushed to the target in 17.4 overs. Israr stroked 60. Alamin took 2 wickets.
White Star humbled Bannu Eagles by 1 wicket. Bannu Eagles posted a decent total of 205. Aziz cracked 75 and Wasiullah 33. Waris picked up 4 wickets. White Star got to the target in 19.5 overs. Wasiullah grabbed 4 wickets and Anwar 2.
