Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier, Minister of Interior, Honorary President of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers, and Head of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's delegation participating in the 34th session of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers met at his residence here today with Kuwaiti Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Khalid Al-Jarrah Al Al-Sabah, Director of UN Counter-Terrorism Implementation Task Force of UN Counter-Terrorism Centre Dr. Jehangir Khan, and Lebanese Minister of Interior and Municipalities Nihad Al-Mashnouq. During the meetings, they discussed a number of issues of mutual concern including ways of enhancing joint security cooperation between the two countries, particularly in combating extremism and fighting terrorism, as well as topics related to the meetings of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers. Dr. Jehangir Khan expressed his thanks to the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for the Kingdom's permanent stances and support for the United Nations in setting up the counter-terrorism centre previously proposed by the Kingdom and provided finance for it. The meetings were attended by the official delegation accompanying the Crown Prince.
